Some 'bombproof' Outlier pants that hopefully don't rip, and a blue croc/rose gold watch band for my new watch (that is not here yet)

I wound up ordering that Withings ScanWatch. Love the look and features, since I've wanted a smartwatch for a long time but hated how they all look like smartwatches.

I'll say, I definitely took inspiration from your A. Lange & Söhne  ;)

Got some fun caps from china today, gonna spread them around my tkls just for a little sprinkle of quirk

Also quite surprised at this cable as well, it has all the bells and whistles with a pvd aviator, coils, paracord, multicolor, except it was only 7 bucks to custom match. Find it wild when other cables cost much more and are of similar or lesser quality.

Hmmm, are you sure? I've been told 75C for the 5900X is perfectly fine, this was after a whole level of Serious Sam BFE which I know tend to raise the temps of any CPU, as I'd mentioned, my R7 5800H hits 102C! To me, as long as temps hit about 90C or below, under load, it's fine. Oh yeah, AIO is the Thermaltake Water 3.0 ARGB.

yes 75c is safe and fine, but for a gaming load it doesn't seem to be normal - especially since it is the only part being cooled in the loop.  I would think mid 50's is where it should be sitting under load watercooled ( I know that's where my 6900k sits and it shares it's loop with the GPU to a single 360 rad when gaming)

Oh, with other games, I believe it's substantially below 75C, the game that really raises GPU temps for me is Serious Sam BFE (not the expansions). Other games, like Siberian Mayhem on my laptop, get my laptop's 5800H to mid-upper 80's, but BFE would make it spike all the way to 102C. There's something about that game engine/code that really punishes the CPU, I use it as a CPU temp benchmark of sort. Try it out if you have the game....

Things have really gotten out of hand the last few years, lol. It’s pretty cool though, all the little mods and tweaks we used to do can now be achieved by stock switches, for the most part.

When they produce those switches, aren't these all same? I mean, for example, if someone orders custom colors, linear 62g switches, are these same as any other 62g linear? Lets say from one producer, Gateron for example. They may change spring, or chassis material, but rest is same.

They can use different materials for the top, bottom and stem in the name of sound tuning as well as different shaped bumps for tactility and spring weights but yes, there are plenty of switches that are exactly the same just a different colour especially when it comes to something as boringly normal as 62g linear.  But you know the switch colour matches your case (no-one else can see because of keycaps...) so that makes them great

Upgraded my CPU to a 5900X, RAM too at 2x 16GB DDR4 4000MHz, now just got a 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD to add to my main rig, all in preparation for the RX 7900 XTX.

M.2 storage has plummeted in price recently - I need to snag a few 2TB M.2's and 2.5 SSD's.

That definitely happens, and in the grand scheme of things you could find a few switches that feel nearly identical once installed and you're actually typing (not finely critiquing them individually).

However, I was very surprised to see (hear and feel) the minute differences between them all. Varying levels of scratchiness, different sound profiles, etc. It was pretty easy to separate them out when testing them blind.

At the end of the whole experiment, Wyfster confirmed that her previous favorite linear switch remains her favorite after trying all these others ones. :)) A huge help to not need to purchase them all to try though, so many thanks to Theremin for the samples.

With Black Friday 'round the corner, there might be some deals to be had. Me? I don't mind snagging a 4TB SATA/NVMe M.2 drive if the price is right....not holding my breath tho.

For a 4TB it needs to be sub $200 for me to consider it, which I doubt will pop up from a reputable brand.  For the price most go, I would just snag a 12-14TB HDD so I could start offloading from my cramped 2-4TB's that I want to retire.

For me, my threshold is similar to yours, IF there's one going for that price on a BF deal, I'd snag it in a heartbeat! Meanwhile, waiting anxiously for release of RX 7900 XTX/XT and reviews, heck, I might just snag one here IF the price difference between it and my home country is wide enough....

I found a 4TB SATA SSD by the unknown brand, at least to me, called Leven JS600, it's going for ~212USD. I am wondering if I should bite....

Edit - Oh heck, I think it's on a BF sale, so I bit the bullet and ordered it. Since it's a local (home country) offer, I'll have it sent to my bud's apartment and will pick it up from him when I get back home in February. I think 212USD for 4TB worth of SSD game storage is pretty good.....at least, that's what I tell myself.

Now that's a good deal - hopefully it has a good Cache & controller
I'm still holding out - normally do most of my holiday shopping closer to Christmas (mainly due to holiday bonus check comes in at that time).  I do plan on getting one of MicroCenter's Ryzen combo Deals - R5 3600 w/ board for $130 for my son's PC (already have a 500GB NVMe drive and memory for it).

Yep, gonna buy a B550 mATX mobo + Be Quiet! or Noctua cooler, then I'd be all set to build a gaming rig to replace my dated i7 3960X rig. With a 256GB NVMe M.2 drive for OS, and the Leven JS600 4TB SSD for storing games, I think I'm all set. for a new build.

By the time I get back home in February, I should be able to snag an RX 7900 XTX, the RX 6900 XT would then go into this R9 3900X system. It's gonna be a pretty powerful 2nd gaming rig, monitor's still my trusty old Acer XR341CK 34" 3440x1440 75Hz monitor, the RX 6900 XT should have no problem handling games at that res at 75Hz. Actually, I can hardly wait to get back and get my hands dirty building that rig.....oh yeah, I dunno if I wanna keep my Tt View case or get a mid sized case. Will have to mull over this.....

BTW, that Leven JS600 4TB SATA SSD isn't from China, seen so many SSDs from China of unknown brand and quality, did a little research on Leven, it's a Taiwanese based manufacturer, seems they are pretty decent, but I guess I'll be the guinea pig for this one.

Majority of SSD's come out of Tiawan - so there is a chance that there are some good ones in the lot.  me still being on x99 thinking I was on old hardware - surprised to see someone still running on x79 lol.

This is really ironic timing. I am literally on the way to the post office right now to ship some empty GB boxes and manuals I sold, and Wario Land II and 3 are two of the titles.
Such great games, all the Mario Lands honestly.

Hah, that is quite the coincidence. I wish I had known you were selling, I would have totally bought those GB boxes. If you have others you're looking to offload for reasonable prices, shoot me a PM. :D And yeah, these are all incredible games. I've only played through Wario Land 4, excited to go back and play the earlier titles.
