There's 1 cap in particular that got me interested in this hobby and that is the Columbia Kosmonavt. I would love for it to be the cap that starts off my collection. So yea, what would it's cash value be?

Depends how badly you want it. I've seen anywhere from $50/retail to $120.

Pretty bad but most I've seen have been for trades so I'll just have to keep my eyes open. Thanks for the info

Probably $250 for Gumrot

Base cost of novatouch + cost of hypersphere rings

Can't tell if joke or not.

Hey everyone,

I finally snagged an IBM model M Soft Touch, P/N 8184692, a couple of weeks ago on ebay. I'm wondering if anyone knows what they are typically going for? The only other mention of a soft touch in this thread is from 2013: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=31779.msg862042#msg862042

The keyboard itself is in pretty good condition. I can't decide if I should bring it to work and use it, or store it away to sell in a few years. I can upload some pictures and a video after work if people are interested. Thanks!

Price check on Bloodsport Mummy lll.

No one has sold one aftermarket but some have been traded. Depending on the person it could trade for a v2 or a mummy ii so take that as you will based on current prices for those.

I see, what monetary  aftermarket trade value do those (mummy ll ,V2) have. I ask because I wanna trade something that costs $150  for one and was wondering if that's enough or too much. Thanks

V2s have been selling at around $200 on average, depending on desirability. Trades are subjective though. If you think you're getting a good deal that's all that matters.

Yeah, that's kind of the problem, isn't it...?

How about the most common/easy to find tactile ones?

People seem to buy AEKs for around 30 shipped minimum.

Maybe 20 bucks for 75-100 switches? is what Id pay.

Dunno whos gonna put in the work to desolder creams though only to sell them.

Best bet is to try to get a salmon or orange aek.  same price most likely and a better switch.

still gotta do the work.

Yeah, for an AEK II with SKCM Cream/White Damped switches, you can expect to pay about $30-40 shipped, CONUS at least.  For an original AEK with SKCM Orange/Salmon, you should add about $20.  You can also find Orange/Salmon Alps in other Apple boards from the same period, like the Apple Standard Keyboard (M0116) or the Apple Desktop Bus Keyboard.

Not sure if those would be easy to get in Europe.  These Apple boards are pretty common in the US, but based on what I've heard from another European member, they are more rare on the other side of the pond.

Good point, I hadn't thought about the international aspect.

Holding out here in the us, you could eventually find a better switch apple board for fairly cheap.
