We're having a group buy for Polycarbonate Translucent Spacebars! Grab yours for your Tai Hao Sets or for any other set you had in mind!

Payment deadline is October 21,2013 (10/21/13) by 11:59PM PST.

Have you considered my idea of offering a matching ESC key? In my opinion another polycarbonate key would would improve the symmetry of a set that uses such a spacebar.

P.S.: I hope you will add that meshed like material under the top of the spacebars, like for your function row caps.  Semi-opaque top, transparent sides.

These will only be translucent with no doubleshot~

We've come across a roadblock for the prototypes as they are $65 each..
We'll see what we can do.
The colors of the spacebars are exactly the same as our current line of translucent keycaps in our shop for those who are increasingly curious.
We apologize for this and will try our best to find a solution.

We will have mockups prepared either by tonight or tomorrow.
I apologize for the lack of previews! Did not personally expect the cost of the prototypes to be so high.
On an interesting note, these will be the very FIRST polycarbonate spacebars(with the exception of the bumblebee honey bar) produced!

No samples?  Fine by me - I completely understand.

I am currently picturing a very wide version of the polycarb keycaps, but without legends.

One thing I do wonder is how much the stem/s show through when sitting in front of the keyboard.  I'd guess pretty well, as you'd expect.

True but a double shot is only used when legends are present. Spacebars don't typically have legends, unless you're Vortex with the Poker II.  ;)

I'm also curious as I happen to have one of signature plastic's frosted top polycarbonate+pbt keycap that I think would go perfectly with this spacebar if I can figure out how to frost it.

That's correct. This is the standard for Filco, Ducky and many other modern keyboards. A prominent exception are Leopold Keyboards: Although they have a 6.25 spacebar they use different stem positions.

If you want a plain black space bar, several places sell those.

If you want a translucent dark coloured space bar, that is something slightly different, but there are sets around with something similar.

Got my order yesterday. They look great! Only problem is I put the yellow one one my keyboard and now I can't remove it (stuck on the right cherry stabilizer) :x any tips?

Just lever it up gently, wiggle it very slightly as you do so.

If anything mine is a tad loose.

The United States Post Office is known to not update tracking for First Class shipments for unknown reasons. We've experienced occasions where some people received their item even though their tracking # showed Electronic Shipping Info Received. Rest assured it is incredibly rare for a package to go undelivered or lost.

Oh man! I'm pretty excited, only 1 more week. It's arrived in my city, but the post office is holding it for "processing". No clue what that means, but they say they'll get the package to me by the end of next week! Thanks for this group buy. I've been looking forward to this for so long!
