Hey I found a pair of matching Controls from my Unicomp Trackpoint that I collected and never cleaned. They're soaking in a denture tab bath now.

And I have that alt with green lettering.

Since you only need these 3 keycaps, I can just post them to you. Will take 14 working days typically. Postage will probably cost me $1.45. You can always donate that to geekhack.

If you don't mind waiting, gimme your address by PM.

I'm interested in the TEK if you still trying to get rid of it.  Tried PM'ing you, can't tell if it went through.  PM me or email me and we can talk about an offer.

Well, the Matias has the replacement keycap.  I will give this keyboard a few more days on here, and then I will have to move it to Ebay from lack of interest.  It's a good board, but I hate to have boards around that I am not using.

They use different fonts or techniques? I never knew that!

I thought at least what you're bemoaning is about their keycap quality, which seems to have deteriorated.

That's pretty much what I mean.  The last keycaps I bought were more of a dark grey or dark blue in color, and off center as well.

Also, you might have noticed the M13 is gone.  I was getting zero interest, so I put it on Ebay.  We'll see what happens.

Does #2, the $100 unit, come with a cable?
Current daily drivers : HHKB Pro 2, HHKB Lite in a server rack, A few Filco numpads in brown and blue, Pure Pro in Brown with Rainbow PBT, CM Ninja in Brown with white engaved PBTs, two Model Ms 89 and 91 with a few red esc, Ergodox full in clear with blanks, a jdcarpe built 40% awaiting some Round 6 keycaps, and soon a Gon custom.  Hundreds more on site at a mechanical friendly work site where I am the purchaser.  If it exists, I probably have used one!

Whoever snags the other board he has for sale won't be disappointed. :thumb:

This is not intended to to be discouraging or "sour grapes" but I have sold half a dozen bolt-modded Ms and only gotten a "good" price for a couple of them.

As much of a cult exists around the "one true keyboard" it is quite surprising to me that people are unwilling to pay a premium of just a few tens of dollars for a clean, tested, complete, and dramatically improved Model M vs the crapshoot of buying a used one on ebay.

If you want the fun and enjoyment of doing it yourself, then scrounge around for a bargain basement price on a dirty original.

But if you do not have the time, tools, and/or energy for this (annoying, fussy, and tedious) project, you should spring for a couple of extra $20 bills over and above going rate for a used M and buy something like this that is really good.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Yea, I am aware that I will not be fairly compensated for the amount of work I put into these things.  But I do enjoy doing it myself.  Take one off the shelf each week,  and work on it a bit each night.

And I do agree, it is a shame that people are not willing to pay a slight premium for these keyboards.  It is clean, guaranteed to work, and modified for extra longevity!

Are you the guy who just put out an ebay listing for $425 bolt modded SSK?

No, that's not me.  I do no have any SSK's.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing
