Hello Everyone!
« on: Sat, 20 August 2016, 13:53:52 »
I've actually been a member here for about 4 years, but mostly just lurked. I did buy my pokerx here some years ago though! Decided to try to get my post count to 25 so I can use the classifieds again since Im looking for a set of GMK SKY DOLCH.

I have a pokerx brown, a WASD 1 brown, and an IBM model M from 1991.

Look forward to getting to know you all!

Maybe  :D  Although it's been a quiet 4 years, I haven't posted since I bought the poker!

Welcome to Geekhack!

And that still sound strange saying it to someone who joined before me :))

A nice couple of keyboards - most people have a Poker 2 or Pok3r these days, you don't find the older keyboards around much.  Or at least people don't talk about them :))

ISO Model M, by the way?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
