Re the $50 mousemat though - has anyone tried a teflon sheet (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280300805419) as a mat? I bet it would be hard to beat.

5600 dpi !!!! Can't say I need that, but if accuracy and speed are equally impressive I'd quite like to try it.I have the Razer Imperator with the same 5600 dpi laser.
