Same story with VIM keys as with R0-5 kit, I just don't think it can hit MOQ

Just added a spacebar kit guys! I've requested a quote from GMK a couple of days ago, but have yet to get something back. Pricing should be the same as the 9009 spacebar kit tho 



I have also updated the kit design to make it more uniform. Numpad legends have been changed (same as ones used on GMK Burgundy), Alt GR has been turned into Alt. I have also made the Num Lock keys and Scoll Lock keys into "Num" and "Scroll" to be more in line of the rest of the 1u mod legends which are all single line

We kept it with 9009 because of the vintage factor but doing it here would be contradictory to the point of the set. Having 2 normal Alt keys does look cleaner IMO

The icon R3-Control still won't be added to base kit? I think it should be and just delete the text one because that text isn't following the design guideline (of 9009 style).

These sets could end up the same colour as non-modern dolch after a decade or two, which I find sort of amusing.

I like that there's a Yuri icon mod kit - it seems to fit with the concept of modernisation. It's a shame that a tilde is the only option non-text option for split backspaces, though. Would it be worth adding a 1u backspace to fill in for delete keys?

I believe it is 2.25u and 2.75u. Personally I think it still need 2u tho, several split spacebar use it like TGR Alice.

Agreed! Both the base and icon kits are lacking 1.5u Command keys (or substitutes like super or code).

Oh yea, for some reason I was convinced it was 2.25 - it's actually a good thing seeing as pretty much every GMK buy nowadays includes convex 2us because of Mondrian and the Planck. Cool.

Nope sorry, after seeing the Debakel that is/was GMK Metaverse spacebar Kit for >50€ when your average  user could need 1(in this case 2) spacebar(s) from the kit.

Nope, split space is not _that_ popular. Adding 4 more spacebar to the kit would make it a lot more expensive for a lot of people and only a small % would use them. I feel like just having them in standard colours is a nice balance

I’d have preferred text and text mods and a more complete set of icon only mods. I know that would increase cost but to me right now it just feels a little confused about what the set wants to be in terms of text vs icon.

Changing the base to text mods would make this an entirely different set. The icon mods with text bottom row has been used on a lot of sets in the past. If you are looking for all text, you can get the monochrome set from GMK Oblivion.

The spacebar kit could offer much better compatibility for split spacebar boards by simply adding a 1.25u blank. I support the 2u spacebar to be added as well.

Also, a R1 1u backspace would be nice to have.
