I went to a concert last night. Jeremy Messersmith. Been a fan for a few years and I've seen him multiple times, but never like this. It was part of his Supper Club Tour, where he plays in people's homes to a small audience (~25 people) while everyone shares unique/family dishes. It was amazing.

1:45 in the morning and the city water is checking the broken water main running under our neighbors yard. I couldn't get a pic without going outside but in front of that truck there's a trailer with tractor on the back. Not sure they're going to dig tonight.

I too went and saw the moon! My university opened up a new observatory 4 months ago, so it was a cool experience as one of my friends runs it, and they had an open house this evening. Unfortunately there was a bit of cloud over the horizon, so we didn't get to see the full moon super clearly.

Sorry bro I'm a B&W guy. I think there's a slight issue with my eyes and colors; so many textures I can only see in B&W photos. But I'll throw up the color version of the flower for you tomorrow. Only because I love Russians.

PS my whole trip I was planning on taking an iri tribute pic with two bags and drinking out of a bottle and then I forgot. :facepalm:

I saw Young Fathers in Gothenburg a couple of days ago

They were fantastic live! They're style is pretty unique and I highly recommend that you go see them if they come to your area.

Thanks, bud. The jungle was good; we got everything accomplished and I'm back home. Everyone told me that their jungles are full of snakes and their capital city is super dangerous. But I never got bitten or shot at. I'm actually a little disappointed. :p

That is in fact, his AK. A Chinese copy. He was a member of the local ANA brigade defending that big compound you see in the back of the picture. We just met him when we stopped outside, the bosses went in, had a chat, he stayed out to chat with us through the terp. He was a pretty cool dude.

Yeah, it's a shame about all young men being pulled into war I guess. Especially when they have no choice in the matter. They are a hard people though, the Afghans. Thirty years of war will do that to you.
