Driver for Logitech MX Performance mouse?

I have been using the Logitech SetPoint driver in the past, however when running this software, it ****s with my mouse performance. Courser movement stutters and the scrolling advances by a random amount of lines every time I move the mouse wheel. In short, my mouse work better with the software OFF.

My question is, is there any other alternative out there that allows me to assign custom function to all of the buttons on my MX performance in much the same way SetPoint allows me to do?

Welcome to Logitech software...
For a company who can make a wireless system like no other, their software tends to be on the level of an HP Printer (it sucks).

I don't think the newer Logitech Options works with it (it doesn't on Mac), but there used to be some alternate software, it was all config file based and I have no idea if any of them work with Win10. One thing most don't realize is that the program and actual function is independent, for years I'd setup the mouse then just stop the program from starting at startup. There's still a service running in background but that tends to be very minimal. You may want to start there before looking at alternatives.

On your next mouse look for onboard memory, this is on the Master I think, but almost all high end Logitech gaming mice as well. I set them up on Mac or windows then move them to Linux. Same for my keyboards.
