As I wrap up R1, I'm interested in discussing R2 for SA Blanks. R1 was all black w/ some white alphas.
What do you want to see in R2?

Jurka brings up a good point, it may be worth talking to SP about doing PBT since they don't need to get the dye sub stuff figured out and they already have the molds. They may not be interested at this time, though.

Sp PBT blanks are meant to be very expensive compared to abs.Yes. I was gonna look toward the East... Though I worry about PBT spacebars warping...
Another +1 for PBT and more colours.PBT is an interest for sure.

Would be interested in thick PBT, preferably > 1.5mm. I'd like to see some colorful blank sets, either soft or vibrant colors.Aka "not black", got it.

What are the prices of R1, just to understand if I'm interested in it and it's worth the risk of trying a new profile. Thanks.TKL, which includes split space, split shifts, alphas, deep dish, frow / nav, WK, WKL, 6.25 & 7 spacebars (no ISO Enter, no numpad) was $99.
Other sets were cheaper (60s, 40s, ergo, ortho), check out the links in the description. You could also buy individual kits for cheaper.

Driving the conversion forward, do you folks feel like colored accents plus a neutral base (gray / white / beige ala Mondrian) would be a good idea / bad idea?
Or a just a colored base set is better (pink / purple ala Grand Budapest for example)?

I think it could be done with a few "alpha" accent (like Mondrian) kits
Alpha accent would be (say) 4x R1, 4x R2, 4x R3, 4x R4.

I am actually most interested in all one color blank sets.
Probably what will happen is:
I'll offer one color mods + alphas, an alt color for mods or alphas, and an accent color pack too. I think accent colors could contain more than one color as well.
Pretty much what I did for R1, but adding an option for more colors is always nice.

Yea, mine could be cheaper I think, though you wouldn't have 'free reign' over your colors (but SP's shop doesn't exactly offers a ton of choice either).
I think the real issue is the other keys, e.g., 2.25u R3 (enter) 1.25u / 1.5u (ctrl alt), where you can't really buy 'one' from SP...
Maybe 'alpha' accents (for things like wasd / vim nav) and 'mod' accents is a good split. Or just 'accent's with alpha and mods... Hmm...

If we are doing WFK, it would be super easy. Split Space kit had 2, plus a bunch of common split space bar caps (2u, two 2.25u, 2.75u).

I generally need to tweak the kits. It was annoying for me to sort so many little bags, and I think confused some folks. For example, I'll likely add a 1.75u "shift" to the 65 kit.
The sets did end up being popular, and a good value for folks, so I might only offer a mods kit (std mods, WKL WK), FRow / 65, ortho, ergo, alphas, etc. Any thoughts on this?
