1 of each at $9 each is not that much.

Just wait until you have a dozen keyboards in your collection, a handful of Clacks, dozens or hundreds of random novelty keycaps, a spare box of switches, a couple of custom cables and then look at your wallet ;)

TH is supporting the suggestion of coloured modifiers with white alpha key caps, but it's kind of redundant now if people want the inverse colours of their original colours.

They also have made the tooling for the window and menu key caps to be double injected (1.25x).

I'm not sure about ISO enter key since you'd need a short left shift as well and some other 1x keys to be included to have a fully supported ISO layout.
Hey Elton if we go for the 2 tone color, maeby just maeby we should go with different colors than round 1? It would not make sense to have the same keys made all over again, pretty awesome that they have made the tooling to be DS for the menu and win keys, that's great news. If this turns into GB and people vote for all white keys sets with the same color legends of round 1 keys, maeby every set can include the 2 win keys and page key 1.25 to replace the blanks we got with the round 1? if that's not too much trouble and people want this and prices don't skyrocket crazy, then this will be another interesting GB for sure.

If you really run a Round 2 could you get those keys made to replace the blank ones from Round 1? Would make these sets perfect (for their cost).

If Tai Hao's next step is Cherry profile thick ABS keys there is nothing to improve ;)

This +1. Those white ones look sick for a bit of contrast, assuming they're using the same red plastic for the red lettering as the original red keycaps, they'll look mint  :thumb:

Matching these up with the last ones would be awesome.  And maybe even mixing colored legends on the same board could be cool too.    And that orange and light blue look awesome.  And a windowed caps lock would be awesome.  I'm really going to miss my money.

Well mine said 'Surface' so I'm assuming it went by boat, that would mean it would most likely go through Rotterdam.

Not sure if anyone else had any issues like this (78 pages is too much to look back through :) )- but on 3/5 of my caps lock keys, there is excess white plastic along the rear wall of the cap that makes contact with the back of the switch housing. For me it was immediately noticeable, but nothing a little Dremel action couldn't fix. Just dremel out the excess plastic, or cut it out with a utility knife.

Really it's not too bad.  If you take the $9 sets plus the space bars, plus the shipping they paid on both, they're not exactly making a killing on them.  I mean I don't know where else you can get a full set of doubleshot ABS for <$25.  Even a blue set sans 6.25 spacebar on ebay is listed at more.

Yea. I know it's still a good deal. I could have just saved some money if i would have just bought all the sets originally. Oh well.

The space bars were shipped by letter mail, so it was probably shipped by air (for those that didn't ordered a bunch).

I don't really need any of the caps until the GH60 arrives, and it doesn't look like it's happening any time soon (and that's fine, I'd rather wait and get a well made board instead of a rushed buggy thing), so I don't care how long the caps take to make it half way around the globe. I'll post some pictures in the beach sand so you get something exotic for the collection.

Spacebars arrived in the mail yesterday on the Canary Islands. That was faster than Amazon! I'm secretly expecting the other keys to show up by Monday.

Where are you in the UK if you don't mind me asking? Also did you have to pay any customs charges?

I picked up my 7 sets from the post office yesterday. The box sounded like a box full of legos :)

I also noticed that the caps fit very tightly on the stems, but that's not a problem if you remove them carefully. I really like the rich colors and I would love to get reversed sets in Round 2.

I was really impressed that not a single key was missing or wrong across my 7 sets. Very good QC by Tai Hao!

Here are some potato pics:

My sets arrived.
Controlled 3 (of 5) and they are in fantastic quality for that low price, also no error caps or missing ones. :)

Great GB!
