I downloaded from Ducky's Facebook page.  1.1.4. U.S. version.

Saw some more of the full size coming in. Assuming still no lingering hint that we'll magically have some with clear switches since nobody seems to be able to keep those in production lately  :'(

How would one go about pre-ordering one of the Shine 3 Magentas with some MX Brown action? I see people mentioning pre-ordering around the place but haven't been able to locate how aside from a mention that a system was soon to be implemented. Looks like these are expected in any time now so I'll keep checking the site

I am currently hesitating between a Filco Majestouch 2 TKL and your beautiful Ducky Shine 3 TKL available soon, but I noticed that as I live in France, the price of shipping is up to $26.55 and that's a lot ! :/
So, the problem is not to pay that amount but after. If I have a problem like Tempest790 (a few posts above) due to shipping or an internal problem happening during the factory fabrication with a switch/spacebar/other, shall I re-pay the 26$ for shipping the Keyboard back to have another one working?

I trust the Ducky quality by 100% but the first release of the keyboards may maybe have some troubles, don't they?
It's my main apprehension.

The TKL is essentially the same thing as the full-size Shine 3.  It shouldn't have any higher of a failure or malfunction rate than any other Shine 3 or previous Ducky Shine 2 for that matter.  They're all made in the same factory....same as Filco if I'm not mistaken.  Question is, if your board does happen to be part of the 5%(or less) that do malfunction, will you be able to get RMA service from a local Ducky reseller/distributor in France.

Only 5%? Thank you for reassuring me (for the first Ducky TKL's release) ! :D
I know that the TKL version is already the same as the full-size but I wasn't sure if the PCB was made by the same process between the both.

And unfortunately, I highly doubt that I could find any Ducky reseller even in a specialised store.
I do not find any in Bordeaux, more than that, the guys looked at me with a huge eyes describing their ignorance when I asked if they have any mechanical keyboard. And some Cyborg and Razer Blackwidow apart, there are no ANSI layout more than that... Maybe in Paris. But if I do not find in Bordeaux, I think that it will be the same in Paris... :(

The choice is so low for us franchies.

I'm sure UK and Finland have some resellers.  It may still cost the same to ship there.....but the turn-around should be faster.

Thanks for the tip. I don't even think about the UK, seems be a legit idea.
And so, if I have any trouble with a Ducky, I can send my Ducky and a bill that proves that I bought one and they send another one (the reseller I mean)?
Like that I will have a working Ducky even if didn't get a refund for shipping the KB there.

You need to check with the UK reseller first.  They may only do it if it's a UK layout board for example.  Not sure what their rules are but you should call them to make sure.

Is there a difference between the UK and the ANSI layout? I wish an ANSI one.

Do you have a name of  a good English reseller please ? :)
