Some good keycaps for the cm quickfire rapid?
« on: Tue, 03 September 2013, 14:46:29 »
Well i'm looking into buying my first mech keyboard and that is the cm qucikfire rapid but there is one thing i hate about it and that is the keycaps, the font is ugly and too "gamer-ish" looking for my taste and i was wondering what are some good white or grey keycaps. if you need to know anymore let me know.

Any caps that fit cherry switches will work. Read the sticky thread and/or the classified forums.

No you're fine. I wasn't criticizing you or anything, I was just saying that those threads would show you where to buy them. Consider also going through some wikis to understand what you are getting at before you buy anything, e.g. http://deskthority.net/wiki/Keycap_construction. The link Lu_e posted is a fair price for some good keycaps though you will have about 20 or so keys left over since the QFR doesn't actually use 105 switches.
