Seems like we have a lot of people interested in getting there hands on this keyboard. This is just to gauge the interest on how many people want these. I still need to talk with some of the korean friends to see if this can help with a big order.

**If this goes into a GB, payment is required immediately!!**
**I will not ship INT as it gets expensive and puts this in the HHKB price range. I do have someone in IT that can proxy to EU but will work that out when the time is right**

Sorry, this is so random and off topic, but there seems to be a bug. I can't post in any thread except this one. There is not option for me to quick reply at the bottom or quote someone. I was going to ask this in the feedback/suggestion thread but I can't even make new topics anywhere.

I am definitely interested depending on price obviously. It sounds like this keyboard will be significantly cheaper than the HHKB, but if it comes to within 10-15% of the HHKB price, I might just go with the HHKB. Still interested though!

FYI, I shipped a leo to Italy via EMS and it was $55. Don't think it's worth it for INT.

Be a cool board to travel around with, it's pretty and topre and my guess pretty light like the hhkb therefore good to fly with

This 660C would make a good addition to the travel keyboard army I'm putting together (ergo dox is not travel friendly)

It fits perfectly in the front pocket of my ~15" laptop bag, and indeed is very light! I didn't have this in mind before, but this is my official travel board now. :-)

It cost me the same as a new HHKB. But I still took the plunge. (Roughly $230 shipped)

I have both the 660 and type s, they are similar for the most part since they're both 45g uniform. The main differences are:
- 660 has a deeper throw, HHKB feels shorter
- The bottom out feel is softer on the 660, more forgiving
- 660 is quieter than HHKB but louder than type s variants
- Layout differences, they're pretty different as far as mini layouts go. It's all personal preference though
- Price difference, varies depending on where/when/how you get it

I like shorter throws personally, but the arrows are a nice touch for when I'm browsing the web. I like the aesthetics of the HHKB better as well. Black on black keys always look really good to me.

i should rephrase that, it is travel friendly and fits in a laptop bag nicely.

I love my ergodox (obviously) in my home office but the clear acrylic case and exposed nuts and bolts is a bit ugly, I wish there was another case option that looked more professional.

its about looks sometimes when you travel and the ErgoDox does not have the looks the Leopold 660C and HHKB have.

International shipping from the US is totally rape if you're shipping a keyboard.

So what's the price of this withing the US, out-the-door? Are they still willing to run that -$15 promo?

I'm thinking that I might be alright paying this much. Can't get it anywhere else, any other board with a Topre switch costs about that much, and did I mention that I can't get it anywhere else?
