I am buying an infinity keyboard, but I can not afford the normal plate version + case, so I was wondering if I could use the bent metal plate for now, and mod a GON 60% plate to work with the infinity keyboard's plate mounted stabilizers.

probably not.
Reason: gon plate has holes for PCB mount stabilizers which are bigger than plate mounted stabilizers. You might be able to wedge a costar stab in there though.
My recommendation: Just wait until you can afford it and buy a kit off someone in the classifides or wait for the next GB. Massdrop wants to do these pretty regularly so there'll be more.
