Title: Best lube for Zilents v2?
Post by: asgeirtj on Thu, 10 June 2021, 07:39:29
Can anyone recommend me a good lube to buy in Europe for these switches? Also, would you guys lube everything except the legs? Am looking for something which would retain the tactility the most. Also does anyone recommend filming the zilents v2?

I mean 3203/ 203g0 is what everyone recommends for tactiles, imo you can use 3204 also just not 205g0

Why 205g0 is bad for tactiles?
I'm about to lube Zealios v2 78g with mixture of 205+105 (60/40).
Is it bad idea?

Hi, I've lubed some Durock T1s with 205g0 for uhhhhhh science, definitely not because I had no idea what I was doing, nope.

Anyway, it makes the switches somewhat gummy feeling. Like there is some double sided tape inside the switch fighting against you as you try to break past the tactile point. Also it is very, very difficult to remove the Krytox afterwards. I didn't like it.
