I was about to say, that looks like a shopping list for plexi/poly fabrication!  What are you using as a router, if I may ask?  I've seen people recommend using trim routers for plexiglass, not sure my hand is that steady.

Nope, I'll be using wood, since I'm not a fan of acrylic cases at all. I'll be using 2 1/4 horsepower Milwaukee router shown here:

If you're worried about a steady hand use "MLCS 9674 Brass Template Guide Kit" and templates.

I don't know much about these.  I prefer Alps over Cherry and I think I read that these keyboards have blue sliders but they are NOT Alps.  Similar but better than Alps especially with the "offset" striking of the key.

I will see when It's delivered.

I finally have something to brag about here. Just lucked into finding and successfully ordering a brand new SGI "Granite" 9500900 keyboard! I've been looking off and on for an old school white Alps keyboard (ANSI layout preferred, which made it even harder) for many, many years now. So this is probably the ultimate Alps score I could have ever hoped for. White Bigfoot Alps FTW!  I need to ping the seller and see if I can get the story behind where they dug these up.

Any other 9500900 owners out there? Got any advice/tips/tricks for me?

Well, there were two for sale, and by the time I saw it there was only one left. The page counter shows only 12 views total. I'm just glad it was a "buy it now" and not an auction. I can't take that kind of pressure!  :p

I wrote to the seller to ask about the story behind these boards, and if they have any more they'll be selling in the future, so I'll let you know what I hear back.

I've always loved Dell monitors, but the new resolution seems a bit unpractical when you could get two monitors for around the same price.

Picked this guy up for $3 today, god bless flea markets! Wish I had've taken a photo before I cleaned the keys up and retrobrighted them, they look way better than what I expected. No idea what the board is as it has no identifying marks but the switches seem to be some sort of cherry white knockoff. Alpha keys and keypad are double-shot too which was a nice surprise! Left the case grubby to show how dirty it was when I picked it up  ;D

Also picked up an unbranded Alps white board with some severe yellowing for two dollars, going to retrobright that next weekend and see if I can bring it back to it's former glory!

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
