•   MOQ: 100 units per kit with a price drop at 200 units ($10 on Base, $5 on DC) -- currently at about 125-130 of each kit (6/1)

We’ve laid out a pretty conservative timeline even with the current backup for SA sets – the hope is that SP can optimize the schedule through the end of the year and possibly smooth it out to start 2018.

Refunds will be issued at GB close if orders reach 200 globally (including our partners in China, ‘KP’, who are one of the largest mechanical keyboard peripheral product vendors in the country and running a concurrent listing through TaoBao)

Shipping is calculated at checkout – these will ship in bags, not trays. Mehkee will ship to most countries, however please note that you may be subject to additional duties/taxes depending on the import laws in your country.

SA Camping was $180 for the full GB, which basically includes all of the keys from this base+the novelty kit (think it actually totaled a few more keys), why is this $40 more then that when they also had a very low MOQ (think 200 kits total sold). Even at the MOQ of 200 you're still sitting $25 more expensive for less keys.

From my understanding, SP has raised SA prices for 2017 production queue.

The goal here was to make a base kit that would have a relatively wide coverage in terms of compatibilty. Novelty kit is a nice to have but was not the focus and has a higher cost because it's split out.

Our full kit has 156 keys and based on SA Camping's thread, they had 150 keys in the kit. Yes it's more expensive across the two, but we decided to divide up into 2 kits because we felt the DC kit would not be as much in demand and wanted to offer a lower price for a set that could cover multiple keyboard layouts ($160 at MoQ of 200 for the Base).

With the cost increases, return ISO for our European friends, and HHKB/FC660 compatibility, we do not feel this price is unfair at all, especially for the Base Kit.

This has two ISO Enter keys which add quite a lot and ISO compatibility, Camping did not have that.

Ocean Dolch alphas are BFQ on GEW (Grey)

Mods are also different colors (both alphas and background)

Both utilize a shade of cyan, but every color is different.

I think everything would line up profile-wise except the two keys above Right Arrow in the far-right column. You could use the R3 Tilde and R4 Backslash to match those rows though! There is also a 1.75u shift included in this kit.

Hate to say it but with the current state of play with SA I'll be amazed if this happens before 2019. Unfortunately it's just not a risk/timescale I'm comfortable with. I'm still waiting on Godspeed atm. I very much hope I'm wrong and this happens on time and is a storming success but I think I have to give it a miss myself, mainly due to the whole SA uncertainty. I think you would have to speak to Mama and Hoq about that - they would need to run a novelty kit which may be pretty pricey along with needing to hit a relatively high MOQ for an independent kit if they end up going forward with it.

Just a quick update - a few days left in the GB! We are at about 130 of each kit! A down payment is being made to SP before the GB closes to hold our spot in the queue.

I don't find it likely to hit the 200 refund mark, but hopefully we will reach it!

A few but not many. We've already put the down payment on MoQ to hold the spot in the production queue. We plan to tack on the difference once we close in ~24 hours but do not anticipate ordering many extras. As I know, It seems that SP  has no barred  homing SA keys， but they have  nippled (bumped dot) homings.
Ocean Dolch only applied deep dish homings this time.

I'm not sure will we make these novelties of GMK version in the future.
GMK has a very high MOQ level and the novelties are not cheap than SP，that makes us hard to make them in GMK.

But, GMK Ocean Dolch sold 268 set during group-buy, and zF also bought some for pre-orders, I guess more people will own the GMK version.
if people find they are more beautifull than they thought after they get the actual keysets, we get some good feedbacks,
We would like to run  round 2 with these novelties.  )
