GMK GameTime was inspired by the Lakers Jersey during the 2020 seasons:
Purple on Yellow: Original Colors.
Yellow on Black: Worn during playoffs and finals.

Color used in this set: GMK DY(Purple), GMK CV(Yellow), GMK CR (Black)

Wow, it surprised me how the form and comments really suggest that you guys like dark base more than light base. So, dark base is sure a great option, nothing is going to be changed.

OK for Light base, yes, my fav color way, people say they like the inverse of it, yellow legends and purple cap, will try to run some renders to see how it turns out. Honestly, I don't like how the 2D render look, will try to run 3D render. Keep you update with light base soon.

Novelties, tons of comment and suggestion from both reddit and geek hacks want Kobe numbers, lakers, mamba logos. I like it too, but I have to look into it more because I don't want to get into any copyright issue and as stated, I don't know how to make/design novelties.

RAMA caps, I really like the idea of GMK Olivia hihihi enter, never seen RAMA enter artisan (maybe there were some before hihihi, but idk). Really want to have a MVP Enter Artisan (just the word "MVP" engraved on it) or Championship Artisan ("CHAMPHIONSHIP" engraved on). This is still an idea for now, will work on it

I was a fan of LAL when Kobe already retired. Really did this set just because I like the color combination of the Lakers, not because of Kobe entirely, just want to clarify that point.
Many people suggest that this set need novelties which has number 8, 24, Mamba logo, etc. Those are really great suggestions, but they will shift theme of the set more toward Kobe theme, and that was not my intention in the first place. As I stated in the IC post, novelties would shift the attention away, and I don't want it happens.
Someone else suggest novelties with a basketball. Great!!! I will try to add that on.

I love this idea, and am interested in seeing a render with purple alphas/yellow legends as well. Not yet convinced the change would look better, but I’m curious to see how it’d look.

I like the idea. I actually thought about a set like this recently. GMK Mamba was what I was thinking. Feel free to steal it =)

edit: I support white alphas with purple legends. Would look sick IMO.

not the biggest fan of yellow alphas since it's hard to match. maybe try black alphas, purple mods, white legends, and yellow accents?

purple alphas would also work better too!
