Sounds funny, but this is a serious question.  If you (or someone you know) has O blood (pos or neg is fine), is in good health, and would be willing to help extend the life of someone near and dear to yours truly, please PM me.

I am on a mission!

Good god, I hope you'll find one. Dont they have national registries from organ donors for this sort of thing? Are you having trouble finding a suitable donor?

On the list for a cadaver donation.  There's not really much of a live donation list.  People pretty much only give up kidneys to people they know.

God, I have never know my blood type. In any case, with the amount of drugs and drink I put my kidneys through, I don't think anyone would want them.

FYI, this is for my mother.  My mother-in-law is donating one of her kidneys to my mom.  They both go under the knife tomorrow (Wednesday, 17 Jun).

I'm headed out in about an hour (they are 8 hours away).

Back at home.  Wife and kids are still in ND looking after the moms...should be home by the end of the week.

So far, it appears the transplant is a smashing success.
