Finally back to States...
China’s vpn banning situation was really bad
Happy to report that Think6.5 is progressing along smoothly. Will monitor progress and provide shipping time estimates late August/early September.

Guys. Below is an update that was provided to me my Gray Studio.

All Brass（CNC & polishing & PVD） are all finished and I willchecked on September 9.

PC（Transparent ）CNC has been completed，polishing is under way.

PC（Black） is 90% complete, part of the bottom case is deformed.（ new materials have been repaired and processed, and CNC is expected to be completed on September 15）.

Aluminum , top case CNC processing completed 80% (120 sets)；and 20% (32 sets) of bottom case have been CNC completed.

Brass namebadge & counterweight (CNC finished, polishing)

Aluminum namebadge (more than 400 completed, expected to be completed by CNC on September 10)

Keyboard packages are still proofing, compatible with space65 and think6.5

Spoke to demo, pcbs are expected to be complete within 2 weeks, will be with potter when keyboards are fully complete.

Manufacturing progress from Airpotter (9-5-2019)

Brass: all done, awaiting final QC.
Transparent PC: CNC done, being polished and sandblasted
Black PC: Top pieces done. bottom roughly 10 left
Alu: top pieces 120 done, bottom pieces 35 done.

PCB: in mass manufacturing process
Box: design complete, proto complete, awaiting manufacturing

Think6.5 Progress:

Transparent PC: 370 sets of CNC are all processed and then sandblasted immediately.

Aluminum alloy shell: 180 sets of CNC have been processed, 90 sets of case have not been completed, and the top case is expected to be completed on September 25.

Brass : inspection found some of bumps, go back to plating, re-grinding and re-treatment.

Black PC: 90 sets of bottom case have been completed. The deformation of top case is huge big. The yield of good products is only 20%. More than 80 stop case of black PC have been scrapped. Now the problem is being solved to improve the yield.

Name plate & counterweight:
800 brass badges & 920 brass counterweights, all CNC processed, is polishing.

1100 aluminium badges，CNC all finished processing, is polishing, and other aluminium case processing will be oxidized together.

Namebadge boxes: 130, CNC complete. To be sandblasted with the case.
6.5 The overall number is too large, so there are some delays[Sob]. I try to complete some shipments of PC cases by October or early October.
It should be shipped in batches.

I'll check the PC's shell first, and then give it to my partner, who will deliver the goods.

I'll go back to merchandise oxidation.

I'm sure there will be a lot for sale once they ship since there were so many participants, but certainly too late in the game to get a GB spot (and I don't think the runner is supported spot swapping).
