Hi All,
Just got myself a razerblade but really don't like the green LED, was wondering if anybody has seen or know how I might be able to change the LED on it?
Thanks

Ok. still, the discussion about LED
brightness, voltage drops, current control
resistors may be useful.

May I ask why you decided to go with the razer blade?

I'm fairly certain it will be all surface mount LED since it's a thin chiclet keyboard. Unless you have a lot of experience with surface mount and the correct equipment it will be a very hard task.

Initially wanted to get the Alienware 14, but after seeing the actual thing it really didn't look sleek even though it had color changing LEDs....
I live in Singapore
Alienware 14 in SG is $2,159 USD
exact same model sold in the US $1,299USD
Blade 14 in SG is $2,639 USD - but I got it for $1,976USD
exact same model sold in the $2,299 USD
So Blade was just cheaper and I wouldn't feel as badly ripped off.. if I could get the alienware at $1299 would probably have did that instead.

anything you do will void the warranty. Easiest way is to tape over it.
