There was quite a lengthy email update from the runner to all local participants 2 months ago, and I just assumed it would be translated and sent to international buyers as well. Guess that's not the case.
Basically, he admitted the delay was caused by a combination of his lack of follow-up, COVID and changes happening at EVE. To be specific, he said that EVE was not able to produce the dark blue anodisation which was one of the original colour options. This is due to the fact that EVE now has its own ano facility and no long works with the previous partner. Colour options are now kept only between e-white and black as a way to expedite production.
There is now a new fulfillment timeline. As communicated in the email, production is expected to finish at the end of May, and shipping is scheduled for June 2021. There was an option for full refund.
All the information provided above is taken directly from the email, and while I have formed my own opinion on this whole situation as a local buyer, I'm going to keep it to myself for now and at least let the runner work towards his newly set deadlines, although they were never communicated to international participants unfortunately.
