did not include the bootloader flashing pins but I believe that is an outlier to actual necessity of the board.

That's not necessary unless you use ATMega32u4RC which comes without a bootloader but, as far as I know, they are not being produced anymore.
Excellent project, thank you for doing this.Although, I'd be in only with LEDs added, and ideally a plate. I don't see myself resoldering everything just for changing the PCB and not having more "fun".
Yeah I'd like to add LEDs once I get a new controller working with QMK, that's another side project of mine atmSame with a full/half plate, I'd like to get something working with minimal cutting to the case itself
The difficult part will be fastening the plate to the case, i think. there's a few screw mounts in the top-middle of the case around 3/4 and backspace, but they won't provide super good support for areas far away from em.
What firmware are you planning to use?
Since this is an interest check, and I'm interested, I urge to ask if there are plans for a european proxy, also, if it there will be any bare PCB for sale, I can do the soldering myself.
really interested in this project and already filling the interest check, but a question: will this support additional LED?? Planning on making a custom sandwich case and really wanted to adding underglow LED effect
Hi, can i join this gb?? I need one for my dolch pac
I might have 1 or 2 extras once I'm done building/shipping these out, I should know in 2-3 weeks. I'll let you know.
so the pcb will drop into a g80 case?

Hey man, do you still have a pcb left? I'd love to buy one off of you. Looks awesome!
I'm interested in the GB when you finish the new design. Also did you ever get the pictures you needed for the Dolch Pac LED layout? (Attachment Link) The LED's go on a separate PCB. So you just solder them into the standard 1800 LED holes. (Attachment Link) Picture from digi Leeku 1800 build log https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=72783.msg1776728#msg1776728
Got an ETA on approximately when the GB will go live? Really excited about this!

Seems like the Dolch LEDs can just be wired to the PCB.Quote from: matt2dlg on Mon, 29 January 2018, 18:25:09Got an ETA on approximately when the GB will go live? Really excited about this! Not sure at this point, in the next few months is my best guess.Update on the Euro orders: My contact moved from Great Britain during the transit of the package to him. It was supposed to reach him by when he moved, but was held in customs. It was released with the condition he'd have to pick it up, in person. Since he's in the Netherlands now, he cannot do that, so they will be returned to me. I'll ship them out to the Europeans as soon as I can once I have them.

I guess they're making their slow way back from customs in the UK
