Is this a good deal and is it applicable to me?

So I was at a yard sale today, and a guy was selling a NIB Weller dual heat soldering gun kit for $22. As someone who has never soldered before, is this a good gun to get to start off with, or should I go with something a little different?

Alright. I don't really feel like walking the mile to get there, so I think I'll probably pass on that. I knew Weller was a decent brand, but I knew from looking at it that there was no real way to modify the heat, as far as I could tell, so I didn't pull the trigger on it and figured I'd ask on here, since some of you guys seem to know a lot about soldering irons. Thanks, Ripster.
