4U keycaps.
« on: Fri, 05 April 2019, 08:02:15 »
Heya, thing I'm wondering about with the Planck is if it is do-able to install a 4U space bar, from the looks of it it might be, but there are a few things that I can't find related to the keycap itself.

The goal is to modify my Planck to have a 4U space bar that matches its current set, SP SA Ice Caps, but I'm not sure if SP can make space bars in other colours than available on the website, I think I saw that it is possible, but for a fee. (How much, wasn't stated.) They also have convex ones, but the 4U seems to only have ABS colours, so I take it one in PBT White (WAN) is not going to happen. (Heard you can't interchange the two molds between the two plastic types.)

I'm not sure if anyone has experience with this, else I'll have to shoot them an e-mail.

Second thing is, what kind of stabilizer would it use? I take it it would use a 2U one, but not sure, and I can't find any images showing the bottom of the keycap, does anyone know or even own a 4U SA cap?
