Price is ok as long as you only need base, and maybe spacebars. If you're a 40's user you should definitely pick up a set of alphas to kit out a second board. That would lead to a price of $137,5 or $145 per set, depending on wether you want kobe or light alphas. Still the upfront cost is hefty. My main concern is finding a suitable keyboard to pair this set with. Obviously the dream board would be something with that deep purple as pictured in the renders, but that obviously doesn't exist (I've always wondered why this is a thing). Let's see if the new renders are convincing.

Because the set uses 6 colors, with 5 being custom, the GMK quote was pretty high and TKC prices at 250 MOQ only. One option could be to get light alphas + 40s and swap with someone's dark alphas.

For reference GMK Oblivion base was also priced $145 @ 250 MOQ and GMK Dracula $135 @ 500 MOQ I believe, but we don't expect to do nearly as well as either of them. 😫

Oblivion also eventually came down to a reasonable price thanks to prove drops. But let's talk about the 40s kit.

As for buying light alphas and 40s, that will cover only an ortho board; staggered users are left with not enough mods.

I'd suggest kitting the 40s similar to Dracula 40s, or putting in more mods to the 40s kit so that staggered too can just buy the 40s and an alpha kit. If the kit is left as you have it now, it's not hard to predict that the kit won't come close to hitting MOQ. Most 40s kits priced at the much more reasonable $45 don't even hit MOQ, and this one is $20 more.
