The Han60v2 utilizes a plateless mounting style with deep bottom gaskets for improved compression.
Multiple layouts, several optional foams, and other optional modifications allow the user to tune the board as they see fit.

Thank you !! Spellbook is an awesome set 
I added foam config as an option on the IC so I'll see how people would prefer it. I personally don't use any foams in my build, but wanted to leave it open for as much customization as possible.

Sure!



The bottom case has some slots that allow some silicone bumpers (included) to rest in. This sits slightly above the lip of the bottom case and makes direct contact with the top case when assembled together having the same effect as a "force break" mod (minimizing the reverberation in the case)

It's entirely optional but does a good job of eliminating any ping or hollowness!

It will really come down to the amount of interest! If there is a high enough MOQ, we may be able to offer HHKB but will need to gauge based on this first IC!

Another case similar to the foams - the aluminum and FR4 plates don't really add too much to the cost, so I thought giving people more options to build would be a good idea whereas if people wanted to try something like CF, it'll add slightly. Maybe "PCB-mount" is more aptly named than plateless.

I'll have a red prototype soon, I don't imagine it'll be burgundy, but it should be closer to a matte finish than the render! I will update with pictures when I receive.

Currently, I'm analyzing the responses on the IC! If there's not too much that needs to be changed, I'll send out to content creators after the IC period and then go into GB shortly after that. I'll keep the timeline up-to-date on the Notion page as well as my Discord!

The mounting style is plateless - each kit will come with a plate if users want to use a hotswap PCB!
