I have to say, I really really love my galaxy-paracord + techflex-carbon + black-shrink cable, have been using it for almost a year, goes great with all my keyboards since they all have some color in them, just saw the photo of the cable while browsing other cables, just beautiful

I've been building a pure dolch keyboard, decided to get a new cable for it, although I checked some example cables in this thread, I couldn't decide, would appreciate some help

a) Paracord - "Spectral Gray" and "Digital Camo" looks nice, but I think Digital Camo might look better
b) Shrink - there is a "Gray" shrink but I couldn't find an example or a definitive photo of this "Gray" shrink, it would be great to see how dark it is
c) Techflex - Probably "carbon" would look good again, but maybe "black" would be better, since Dolch is greenish-gray + very-dark-gray (almost black)

Spectral Grey will be the best bet IMO. It is more greeney grey than digi camo. Shrink, here is a little pic of grey shrink, its not popular, but I really like it:- http://i.imgur.com/VSobTpm.jpg

Carbon Techflex, or even black would work, but the carbon will show more of the base layer as it has a blend of clear and black.

Hey man, I think the drop downs are broken on the new mod kit page. When I go to "Connector 2" it comes up with the length in feet. And there isn't a length drop down either =/

Nah. Still the same. Might just be the god awful browser I'm using at work. IE11 for reference is terrible.

Teleios orange is so hard to photo, its a BRIGHT orange, just can't get it with my camera. I would go with that myself, safety orange para is good for more subtle boards.

What's the best alternative to grey if I'm going for the same look? I'll be using it on a black case/white backplate Pok3r with granites.

I regret not ordering a cable weeks ago, I would have it by now, I will probably get one now and get another when/if the grey flex every arrives

It would be great if you could find a dark grey shrink too, like a smoked black, as the current black is so very black, and the current grey is slightly white-ish :)

As it is, my build is pretty much 50 shades of grey

Dudes, if you want to make orders, you can do so normally and just choose a random colour of double sleeving and make a note in the order comments that you want 'platinum grey' instead.... I have a roll of plat grey on order for you

They take ages to do especially on long cables. If you want a short one order a coil and make a note in the order comments you want a beast ; )
