  • Ducky DK9008G2 Pro, PBT dye subs - Cherry Browns
Hey guys, I mentioned in another thread (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=69133.0;topicseen) that I was looking to mix up some of my keys and particularly had a fancy for the blue and grey mix that Ducky employed on one of their PBT based boards. Ultimately, I shelled out and went for the IMSTO set featuring the neat Hangul letters in dye-sub red. It is a beautiful set! These keys are of a very high quality, and although the Cherry profile is taking a bit of getting used to coming off of the OEM profile, it seems it may be a pretty smooth transition. The dye-sub treatment on these keys is very sharp, bold and well done. To be honest, it almost rivals the quality of the Ducky keys!

I am very happy owner of a custom PBT dye-sub Ducky board and look forward to enjoying this for some time. I have posted some pics for you guys  :D

IMSTO keysets are always incredibly high quality! And they really look great on your board.

Thanks everyone. So far I am enjoying them on the board  :)

How about the touch feeling?

I can say they feel of a very high quality and solid, as they are a thicker PBT. It is like night and day vs your typical flimsy ABS keys. They also have a bit of a texture on the top of the keys, but its pretty subtle and actually a good thing. Personally, I like the slight texture vs smooth keys as idk, it feels a bit more "organic" to me.

Are imsto's pbt rougher/grainer than bsp/ivan's pbt runs ?
