Depends on what kind of beer you like but a snifter is my glass of choice. Those can be found for pretty cheap :)

Came across this..

At some point in my life,  I've done 9/14

--Things alcoholics say--

1. I always drink socially and don’t drink alone.
2. I don't drink in the morning.
3. I'm drinking by choice, not because I have to.
4. I only binge on the weekends, I don't drink during the week.
5. I can sometimes control the quantity I drink.
6. I can take breaks from drinking (i.e., 1 week, month(s), etc.)
7. I drink the same amount as my friends.
8. I'm a connoisseur of fine wines, champagne and craft beers.
9. I'm only hurting myself, not my loved ones.
10. I do well at work or academically therefore, I don't have a problem.
11. I have never blacked out or passed out.
12. I never miss obligations due to my drinking or hangovers.
13. I never drink and drive (but I have to use Uber, cabs, sober friends to get home safely.)
14. I drink for fun and not to “self-medicate.”

Are alcoholics actually required to say those things? Both of my parents were alcoholics, and I never heard either of them say any of them. Could this be just another example of how they avoiding their responsibilities?

Nice. Didn't realize this thread existed. Anyway, Im down in St pete, FL this weekend watching the Firestone GP and whenever I'm here I always go to this beer barn, shep's. They carry a very nice selection of beers, local, import, and micro. Anyway, I thought I'd support a local brewery and I grabbed this St Pete brew. Fisrt, I want to say I absolutely hated it. My go to brew is an Amber ale, but this was too malty for my taste. Anyway, I'm really posting to point something out that I'm curious about. The can has a paper label on it, and my dad who has brewed beer for a small restaraunt and he said that is suspicious of a contract brew, so it might be misleading as a local brewery. If anyone has insight, I'd love to know. Cheers.

By paper label, I assume you mean as opposed to the UV cured printing on macro-beers like Coors etc? If so, many micro-breweries use either "sticker" labels of some sort or the plastic "wrap" labels on their cans.

I don't know anything about that specific beer, though, and contract brewing is certainly a thing so it's entirely possible but I wouldn't say the type of label can really be used as an indicator given the prevalence of in-house canning these days.

Nearly all beers are bitter,   so if they were labeled as grapefruit with (added sour) and spoonfuls of sugar,  it'd be IN LINE with normal authentic grapefruit drinks.
