This keycap set was posted on Reddit to gauge interest. They're talking about who they want to produce it. The legends I don't care for, but I've never seen that color combination before. It's great. Maybe it's something for a future JT set.

this just looks like dolch with a couple goofy g4m3r mods.
i've wanted dolch with all yellow legends for a long time but it seems like a lot of doubleshot pbt options have stalled out.

What I liked about the set was the color combination (Dolch-ish) and the fact that the legends were also dark (like Realforce's black on black). I don't think GMK has ever done anything similar before. I added a picture to my earlier post. Maybe it could work with entirely black legends as well.

Yeah, there is really no valid excuse for skipping this GB  :p

Especially at these prices. If this was a 120$ GMK set I may have had doubts as well.

Ya. I'm an idiot. I even looked at it and said to my self "you need to stop buying keycaps". Then as soon as it finished I started kicking myself. Haha.

Bunny, you are seriously too kind.  I will take a set, but I insist on paying for it.  I know you can't help yourself, so I think we need to start a Philanthropists Anonymous group pretty much just for you.  "My name is BunnyLake and I am an addict..."  :P  Seriously though, you owe me nothing.

It's worth pointing out that BunnyLake here is trying to repay swill for helping with a buy that Bunny himself is only involved in because he stepped in to help when it was failing.

That's like an altruism parfait.

+1  Especially considering the fact that my 'help' ultimately ended up creating more work for Bunny.  Hopefully in the long run it will reduce the amount of PMs and emails he has to deal with for the GH60 buy by giving people a place to check status without having to contact him.  Bunny has superhero status in my eyes.  Taking on the monster that is the GH60 buy, while moving, and with a little one on the way.  Not to mention everything else he does for the community (like PAY IT FORWARD), crazy...  I have nothing but respect for this man.

hey guys

the purple sets just arrived here, the black sets are a seperate shipment as are the sliders and are on the way but not here yet

because i am busy both tuesday and wednesday

im going to get packing the purple sets right now, and try and have all the purple set only orders out by this afternoon, then once i have done that, ill take some nice pics for everyone

anything i dont manage to do this afternoon, will go out thursday

as a quick note, as these were manually sorted, and there is an insane amount of them, there will be the occasional packing error, perhaps an incorrect or missing key, or in some very rare examples a damaged key, this is the first time we have done this, so if you are affected by this, simply send me a pm with the issue, and i  have plenty extras of everything to get any replacements needed right away to you

I hope the sorting goes well :)

Mine's one of the black sets, so the joy of sorting those is yet to come ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

hey guys

got everything i said i was going to dropped off today

sadly im not going to have time for a full photoshoot today, im waiting for a call back form the hospital but i may have to take my wife in as she isnt feeling good

but i took this for the time being

as a very quick review

firstly i should give a disclaimer, i am obviously involved with jtk so obviously you must take that in to consideration when reading my review, however, i feel i am being completely honest

having the final product in my hands after all this time is great

overall i am incredibly happy with it

there are some problems, there are a handful of legends in the set that suffer some slightly legend issues, so slight positioning id change and the odd thickness issue, that being said, every single complaint i would have would be to do with the legends, the keys themselves im pleased to say are the best i have used, the few issues i have as i say are legend based, and they are currently being fixed ready for the next buy

all in all, im very happy, and i hope many of you will be as well

Looks great Bunny  :thumb:

Even if there are some minor issues, I don't think they are visible from typing distance.

This set is absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to type on it!

I hope Mrs BunnyLake is ok and things are going well in that department.

Also I tend not to notice legends much (I try not to look at the keyboard as I'm typing), so it sounds like this set is going to be perfect :)
In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

but i took this for the time being

Show Image

as a very quick review

firstly i should give a disclaimer, i am obviously involved with jtk so obviously you must take that in to consideration when reading my review, however, i feel i am being completely honest

having the final product in my hands after all this time is great

overall i am incredibly happy with it

there are some problems, there are a handful of legends in the set that suffer some slightly legend issues, so slight positioning id change and the odd thickness issue, that being said, every single complaint i would have would be to do with the legends, the keys themselves im pleased to say are the best i have used, the few issues i have as i say are legend based, and they are currently being fixed ready for the next buy

all in all, im very happy, and i hope many of you will be as well
Thanks for the picture Bunny. Don't worry, take care of your family. Family > GH. I'm sure people will love the keyset. ;)

just got back from the hospital, thanks for the kind thoughts guys

things are ok, from what i can tell, she is getting very severe migraines (blurry vision, slurred words, vomiting and extreme headaches) however she has never had migraines before so its all new to her, because she is between a week or 2 from giving birth, they take it super seriously so i was there like 6+ hours for the second time this week

sorry for the off topic but as people were wishing the best, i wanted to put anyones mind at rest
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING RIGHT NOW, WILL BE BACK AROUND SOON

Thanks for letting us know.  That kind of stuff is super serious especially where she is in her pregnancy.  My wife had preeclampsia and they were forced to induce a week early.   She was getting headaches and had very erratic high blood pressure.  They would measure her and it would be super high, then an hour later back to normal, then a couple hours later high again.  That went on for a couple weeks (along with many trips to the ER) and finally they just said F-it and induced.

Good luck with the next couple weeks, looking forward to the newborn pics  :thumb:

A few hours extra care now will make a world of difference in the decades to come.

I didn't realise it was that close - sincere hopes for a smooth and safe delivery for all involved! ;D

And I just realised that those remarks could refer to either Mrs BunnyLake and the JTK sets :))
