Maybe so, but I am happy to escape a lot of the stuff my wife does as mother... That's a hard job, which I'm not sure I could do. I definitely couldn't do it better than my lovely bride...

Since we have people getting their JTK sets, any ETA for when the Topre to MX sliders will be available to purchase separately? And did you ever get any pictures of the final sliders?

From what I've heard from bunny he is still waiting on the white on black sets and the sliders to arrive but he expects them to arrive to him very soon.

This looks excellent!

For the longest time everyone was bemoaning the absence of any purple sets.  Then the GMK purple modifiers were created, and people were satisfied.  For a while.

After that various artisans started making selected purple keycaps, and the masses celebrated in joy.

Now there is a full white/purple set, and all can rejoice!

Also, excellent communication from the manufacturer - a few other manufacturers could take a hint ;)
Agreed on all points. Two questions though.
1) Why is purple so popular now? It has big love.
2) how can I get the same love for watermelon pink? Am I alone?

1. Purple is always popular, just that there are very, very few purple keycap sets.  Bro made one (black and dark purple), Tai Hao has one (very light purple), now there is JTK which looks to be superior to both of the above (in material and thickness).

2. If the opportunity arises to nominate colours for a new set, you can always nominate it!  Have patience, promote the colourway wisely, and your quest may become fruitful :)
Thanks Rowdy! I have more enthusiasm than wisdom but I will try to wisely promote sweet sweet watermelon pink.

Has anyone tried out the sliders? Just curious about the length, since I was having some trouble on my novatouch (namely the donor Realforce domes couldn't fit properly into novatouch slider housings)

As said by bunny, some of the purple and white sets, without any extra or topre-mx sliders where sent out.

Bunny has the rest of the sets and sliders on the way to him and he should be getting them later this week or on Monday or Tuesday.

We have no experience with QC and sorting. So the first round we have some problems . But we will do better in the future and keep improving keycaps and QC.
If anyone find wrong sorting keycaps or injected problem, contact bunny and he will deal with those problems.

On some level, I'm pretty okay with scratches and such. It gives a stronger feeling of a "debut" set, and gives some character I think.

I, for one, welcome our new scratched keycap overlords.

E: I realize my joke may come off as if I expect poor QA - which was not my intent. I look forward to a great product, as [CTRL]ALT always delivers.

These are looking pretty amazing considering the fact this is the first set produced and I think is really great news for the community. All the issues so far appear to be very minor and nothing I have seen so far has dulled my enthusiasm. Thanks again bunny and all involved with this set.  I will definety be signing up for the orange and black set 8)

Looking for Black KMAC 2 or KMAC LE Preferably unbuilt kit but will consider an assembled board with clears Please PM me if you can help 8) Always on the lookout for KBK/KWK Bro Reapers,V2s and Clack factory skulls have lots of caps for trade

Fingers crossed I will be able to get my sets before the 16th of october since there a "pink day" at work which is to raise awareness to breast cancer, so as you can see this is very important for spreading the word about the awesomeness of keyboards :D (I know it's purple but not pink I think it's close enough).

Ya, I figured as much.  I hear you on the 'not prepared at all'.  Trust me, you won't be prepared for any of it regardless of how much you think you are.  Just keep your head and take care of your wife and you guys will do fine.  Just a heads up, you will be handling all of the hospital staff and you won't have your wife to bounce things off, so I would recommend you get on the same page with your wife now before things start.  This was something I did not think about before I was put in the situation and I remember thinking "damn, how the hell am I supposed to know these answers".  Things like "Do you have a birthing plan?"...  We did fine, as will you, but that is something that blindsided me a bit...

thanks for the cool words swill

on second thoughts with this shipping stuff

what im gonna do now is try and ship as many orders as i can today, including slider orders, and then ill send the sliders separately, as i dont wanna end up holding peoples sets longer than expected wiht the baby coming etc

ill pay the additional postage to ship them separately

hey guys

2 things

firstly

ive packed and marked as shipped about 120 orders so far today

these will either be dropped off early tomorrow morning, or wednesday afternoon

as mentioned before there is a slight fault with the purple on white \ key, these keys are being reprinted over the next 3 days and will be shipped express to me when they are done, if you have an issue with your key, ill send you a replacement once i have them on hand

the issue as mentioned before is they are a bit tight, particularly on mx clears, mx blues, and novatouch sliders, please do not force this key on

Thank you for all the hard work bunny, I don't know if I would be able to work and do all this with the thought of having a baby within the week.

Thanks again, bunn.  :-*

ill pay the additional postage to ship them separately

I am willing to chip in on this extra shipping cost.  Consider it a Baby Bunny gift...  :)

I'm thinking ctrlalt needs a donate button (or does this exist and I don't know it??)  to facilitate anyone wanting to support them.

It does. At the checkout, you can donate any amount. :)

I agree.  I think a PayPal Donate button would be very helpful since Bunny ends up covering a lot of cost (without complaint), but many of us would like to help him out.

Yes and I donate every time I order from them, but I don't want to order something and add work for Bunny (especially given his current limitation on time) just so I can donate.  The store is currently down though, so I can't even do that right now...

there is a paypal donate kinda link thing in my signature, but it only works for certain countries right now

but i would never ask

the only reason its in my sig is because its easier for me in a pm to say send the money to the link in my sig when selling something rather than sending invoices or passing email addresses around
