Anyone know how to fix my enter key?

Or if this is even fixable?
My first thought is to use the sandwich bag fix.

Maybe someone else has a better idea but I think the sandwich bag would work.

just put some tape on it to make it tighter and clean that board  ???

Why do you bother about the enter while you are typing on that dense dirt layer.
Lol honestly, it's the lighting and a lot of dust.

totally up to you, there would be no reason not to cap wise, however as you are in the UK it would be faster and cheaper to grab them from me as i have them sat here, just pm if you would like some

How to fix? I don't feel comfortable drilling

Should I pm bunnylake about this?

i got the tracking on these keys finally about 4 days ago, i was told they will take about 10 days to arrive, as soon as they do ill post here

Bunny, do these replacements you are receiving include the windowed caps locks with the same stem issue? Those were the only two keys I had problems with, the |\ and PoW windowed caps lock.

This set was supposed to go on my Realforce once I got the sliders, but couldn't hold out anymore once I got my ComPact SQ 1800 built.
Sorry for the quality in advance, but I really don't care about waiting for enough light to take a great picture.

Hey Bunny,

unfortunately my set is still missing. As discussed with you before Christmas I still had hope it might show up eventually, but apparently something went terribly wrong.

I will send you a PM with the details as soon as I am back home from work.

Thank you so much for your superb service  :thumb:

i picked one up just to try it

was a ghetto fix but i cut off the 2 stab mounts on the enter key cap, and used a little baggy in the centre stem

mine was super stable

but then i had lots of enter keys so wasnt worried about destroying one

if needed i can take some pics tomorrow

obviously the set wasnt designed for a novatouch so as i say its a bit of a ghetto fix

Sadly I don't have 2 extra enters to decapitate.

Maybe something that can be looked into for future sets?

Yeah they have arrived to me, I ordered a couple hundred tiny bubble mailers on Amazon which I thought were in prime but I guess they weren't cause they just arrived a few days ago and were about 4 or 5 days longer than I thought

In all honesty I haven't started packing them yet, I had been concentrating energy on getting the cherokey stuff sorted with bro caps and going over this big hyper fuse push with Cody in the small amount of free time I had

I had a bit of time on Sunday but I used that to catch up on some outstanding niggling bits and bobs on the forum

Sorry for a bit of an over explanation but as people scream for transparency there it is

I'm fairly busy between now and Sunday so I may be able to do some packing here and there, but it may not be until Monday that I can get them all packaged up

I was hoping to combine shipping wig sliders but most likely they won't ship to me now until the jtk sophomore buy does which last I heard was mid Feb so obviously I don't wanna keep people waiting that long

Anyway sorry for a long response to a simple question and sorry it's taking me about a week longer than it could of

If anyone's ever thinking of running a group buy, or even of criticising a group buy organiser, just think about how long it would take YOU to sort, package and ship 255 sets of anything!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Bunnylake,

I'm still waiting for my Purple on white set. Can you PM me.

Are you the guy that got the wrong colour set, sorry I'm bad with names

This update goes to you and I'll include a general update as well

Yesterday my brothers wife went in to labour in the morning nearly 7 weeks early, upon arriving at the hospital he was breach and they had to perform a c section right away

As he was so early there were some complications, late last night he had some lung issues they are working on as well as lots of other things associated with being premature

As a result I won't be around much for a few days to a week and have family flying in and whatnot

With regards to things going out

I've shipped about 80 percent of the replacement issue keys for orders that did not include missing keys or sliders

Once get back around I'll finish shipping the problem keys to order without issues and to ones with missing keys

To the people waiting on sliders, as these are shipping with the sophomore gb I'll wait to ship the problem keys with the sliders to you guys so I can combine shipping has the shipping costs so far have dwarfed the amount of shipping charged, as every conus order was shipped from the uk rather than from within conus as was planned when shipping was charged and obviously the unexpected costs of replacement shipping

<3
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING RIGHT NOW, WILL BE BACK AROUND SOON
