I have this idea when I first saw this contest but do not know how to execute it, as I don't have Photoshop or any other tools. So, some of my time were spent on researching how to get this done. I worked on this for almost 2 days. Most time are spent on research and extracting hundreds of members' avatars manually (using the Mac's screen shot sniping tool). After that I shifted through the avatars to pick about 90 of them. The problem is, many of you are using Halvy's Girlshark avatar, including me, so it's hard to get some unique avatar. I had to crop some of them in between the shark's mouth to get at it. Then I picked from many of my own keyboard photos that represent Geekhack and finally, the beautiful artwork by the now dead HipsterPunks (heh!) still represent the best of what Geekhack is. I put 3 of my favourite key makers' work into this and tried handwriting the Merry Xmas message, which I failed miserably. I ended up using an iOS app called Labelbox to help me. The result is:

I'm not sure how to make something that relates to Xmas and geekhack... I'm working tomorrow and won't get NYE off so I'm not going to have much time and I spent the last four days (my Xmas holidays) in Scotland with my parents for the first time in some 5 years. So for me Christmas with them is about being in the middle of he highlands, walking the dog drinking and eating. I don't have access to anything electrical other than the tv and my phone, so my submission is a photo I took Christmas morning of the Locke that's in front of my parents house while walking the dog with my old man:



I didn't edit it or filter it, just the effect the light gave it as my iPhone dosnt make the best camera.

Tried my hand at a paint drawing.  Wanted to actually write the message and to have it with a black outline, but paint would not let me outline it. Along with using a mouse made any words look horrible.  Definately not an artist, so I looked up some cartoon to get an idea, and then made my own.

Tried making the thrown snowball a clack skull, but it just looked off.
