I handwrote thousands of lines!
What's it for?

That reminds me of the stacks of paper in The Shining all having the words "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" over and over again. According to legend, Stanley Kubrik made his secretary type it manually on a typewriter, which took her several weeks, if not months to do.

Stage 1 of improving handwriting - if you can't do lines of a consistent height and spacing you have no chance of doing it with fancy shapes, such as letters and words.  Tomorrow I might progress to horizontal lines!

It's amazing what a month off work crippled does to an otherwise 'normal' mind, worryingly this was probably my most productive day :-\

Finished a run of Bioshock Remastered on Normal. Did the Proving Grounds level--second to last, where you escort a little sister around while dealing with hostile turrets and hordes of splicers--without losing a single little sister. Granted the one I had did lose 2/3 of her health before making it through the level, but still, this is something I've never done before. It was a pretty sweet accomplishment, even if it was only a video game.

Didn't have any coffee this morning so I decided to drink a caffeinated 250mg marijuana 'energy' drink and go grocery shopping. 45 minutes later standing in the produce section like a zombie I realized what a grave error I had made. I grabbed some coffee and frozen pizzas and got the **** out of there, then somehow got home and took a nap.

What moron thought sticking stimulants and a relaxant in the same can was a good idea?  At least your day wasn't a total loss, you learned it is as bad as it sounds and warned others about it :thumb:

A year :eek:  Sorry to hear that, I'd ask but you said not to.  Hopefully you can adapt or recover and get some quality of life back, I'm impressed you made it this long.

Cut ties with my Aunt Penny, who pulled her holier than thou bull**** for the last time. I know it seems extreme, but considering the abuse she's put me and my mom through over the years, I should have done it before now.

Also, found my stepbrother on Facebook. Was quite shocked. I haven't spoken to him or his mother in a few years now (circumstances beyond our control), and have been trying to find a way to reach him ever since. Needless to say I took this opportunity, and now I'm quite glad I didn't give up Facebook (I wasn't affected by the most recent breach, since I don't use the feature that it took advantage of).

4:00, wallow in self pity;
4:30, stare into the abyss;
5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one;
5:30, jazzercize; 6:30, dinner with me - I can't cancel that again;
7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing... I'm booked. Of course, if I bump the loathing to 9, I could still be done in time to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling and slip slowly into madness. But what would I wear?

That sounds like one of my weekdays.

Today, I had a day-trip to another city to visit grandparents' (and aunt's) grave. I also had a good danish pastry and lamented the decline in people's respect for one-another.

Do people really do that? There's a haircut I found online I like, but I've always thought the barbers would know better by looking at my hair and the shape of my head.

This one:

But pay no attention to the beard.

My hairline receded a bit over the last few years (currently in my early 30s), but I still have enough on top to pull this off, methinks. The haircut I got today was by a new guy, but he did a really good job. I got a mid fade, but next time I may ask for a high fade.

Yea.. Go for it.

Something like in the photo will look good on pretty much anyone..

Now, keep in mind, the dramatic curves and lifts you see there.

That requires:

Blow dry or Iron

Finish with a little hair spray. (can not use gel/wax), must be spray.

Morning process is no more than 5 minutes once you figure out how to do it up.

Thanks, tp! I'll show the guy the picture next time. I was going to today but felt a bit reserved.
I realize there's probably post-production that goes into that haircut in the picture, but a good haircut will help a ton. These days I don't have time to blowdry, but I do use product a handful of times of week, fewer so the longer my hair grows.

Went to see Broly today. Gotta say as a lifetime Dragonball fan, Broly was the best animated and most cogently written DB movie ever made. They retconned some minor things I believe ultimately for the better, and left basically all of DB, and DBZ(aside from the movies) untouched. I was unsure if seeing it on a big screen would have any impact, but it really did. The fight scene between Vegeta and Broly/Goku and Broly were intense. They also brought back/made cannon a slew of forgotten DBZ characters, for better or worse.  :thumb:
