Hello from Kentucky
« on: Sun, 01 April 2018, 09:55:03 »
I've been a keyboard enthusiast for a while, with a big lull in the middle where I pretty much only used laptops. My favorite keyboard for a long long time was the Apple A1048, which now that I look back was not a very good keyboard. I went through so so many of those. The keys would get sticky or something and I would just put it aside and get another. I remember buying five at a time on eBay once. Ugh.

Right now I have a black Pok3r with SA Carbons (the keycaps my first Massdrop buy so I didn't end up getting the exact keys I wanted, oh well) and a gunmetal Planck with XDA Canvas keycaps. I like Cherry Browns.

My six year old son has a Qisan Magicforce, I didn't want to spend so much money on a keyboard for him, but this is actually working out well. Looking for better keycaps for him now which I know will push it into absurd for a child territory.

Welcome. I'm from Kentucky and that's where I started my journey into mechanical keyboards. If you don't mind waiting a few weeks, you can actually find good (but not great) quality PBT keycaps in China. Something like this could work out nice: http://v.ht/DolchPBT.

I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html
