Onyx GB sales numbers and my own Discord server announcement

First, thank you all for the activity on various Discord servers, it's nice to hear what everyone's getting and such!

As of today, there are 300+ units sold WORLDWIDE! That's a big accomplishment on its own, and we are very happy for the interest and support!
Once GB ends and we gather all sales data on colours etc., we will provide information about that as well!

Onyx base kits are still available at all vendors so if you're still on the fence, be quick as GB is live until Feb 26th (please check in with your regional vendor so you're not late!).

I just realized the keyboard that Minterly built was not black, it looks more like graphite grey which I love the most~
I thought it's black so I ordered the black…shame that prototype color is not in the option T-T

I want to get in on this because it looks fantastic, but alas slightly outside of my budget. Rama Thermal seq 2 makes more fiscal sense to me at this point.

Yeah, Onyx is priced higher for sure so go for the board you can afford. Thermal Seq2 seems like a great board!

Yes, it's true. That's dark gray but you can see the black prototype on Apiary's stream. I think I've linked to it in one of my posts in this thread.

I just wanted to share some cool facts for anyone that does follow Onyx GB here.

GB ended on Feb 26th, all orders have been paid for and we gathered all orders. Total units sold - 370.
All data has been past on to the manufacturer so the wheel starts rolling. THERE IS NO INFO ON DELIVERY DATE, PLS DO NOT ASK.

Here's also some interesting charts for colourway, top piece and ANSI/ISO shares. That's for base kit orders, of course.

Red = ISO, Blue = ANSI

Red = WKL, Blue = WK

Geekhack is still my preferred way to find out about and discuss everything keeb. I follow dozens of Discord channels but to be honest it is difficult to keep up with them all. Here I get to see it all with ease.

This. I “watch” many threads here and read all new posts for those threads. I do not always comment and lurk many of those threads. Discord is a fun distraction but it is not feasible for me to track 20+ servers, even with dedicated channels. I don’t watch tv but I think of discord as an equivalent: lots of noise with snippets of information I might find useful and/or interesting. It’s not usually worth my bandwidth in terms of ROI on my time. Please keep posting here.

Apologies for resurrecting an older thread but to any Onyx owners interested in getting a PCB or some softer gaskets now is the time to speak up!

There's been a discussion on my server [Skepur's house] about a need for spare PCBs due to reports of chattering and even a couple of "bricked" PCBs after some use. Also, production gaskets are slightly firmer than I originally tested and approved. So we're gathering interest about re-running extras only that would enable people to:

Stock up on reserves for your favourite board!
Fix those small issues for people that have been left with the most beautiful paperweight
