This looks really clean! I love the whole aesthetic, plus the stem slots is a nice touch. I am certainly going to buy a couple of these! Archetype really does some amazing work, and I am glad to see them expand to new things like this! Excited to see what else is to come.

this is a very clean design! however i'm wondering, will there be any type of scoop/indent to make removing the acrylic cover easier? otherwise i can see it being a PIA to open w/o flipping all of your artisans out.

The sides are a separate piece than the bottom, you can see it taken apart in one of the pics

Yes.

Also, possibility of Museum glass, or maybe something cool like radiant acrylic?

Word of warning: not all MX caps will fit in OD stem holes.
F Keys belong on the left.

what is the benefit of the stem slot?

The main benefit is to keep the caps from sliding around while moving the unit around, it just allows for a more finished display feel, personally speaking. Additionally we feel that it allows the display case to look more uniform at different angles, as opposed to letting gravity dictate where the caps "rest" at a given angle (more on this later).

Definitely interested.
Not sure if possible at this stage, but it would be nice if you could stack cases on top of each other.

Why does it have dampening pads?

The dampening pads are there just to cushion the top and bottom case when you open and close the box, its metal on metal, so it just adds a bit of cushioning to keep the parts from clanking together too hard.

If you click on the little "more" button at the top where it says prototype pics, you can see the initial prototype, a second prototype is on order, we will happily post those once it arrives.

Hey Archetype folks! Always been in loooooove with your artisans and design language.

This looks amazing.

My only "nit" on this is when the case isn't full, the stem holders look a bit.. distracting. I think the focus should be on the artisans themselves, but I feel on an aesthetic perspective, the stem holder does take it away from it a little bit.

I do appreciate the attention to detail on including it, and I totally understand their inclusion on a functional perspective.

GLWIC, I'm copping for sure.
