That's probably because it was already being sold in gray and blue. Thanks for the answer :)

Pro tip, when you make your order you should be given a link for changing it. Save that link so if you do want to change the order you don't have to re enter all your info, and it saves me time of cleaning up duplicate orders too :D

For the modifier row (1.25), would special Cherry design keys be dyed on beige plastic?

he can but in this GB novelty keys size 1 are only for the top row, and the bottom row is 1.25. He needs bottom row in size 1.... I don't think that they have mold for that one.

:( This definitely would've been the set I would've jumped on without hesitation. I can touch type Korean but it would've been helpful and awesome to look at.

Oh right, I can't read. I've got the same problem, in the other hand I really want my specific layout but in the other I hate the colors available with it and have absolutely no use for the mods, numpad or f-keys :D

I almost got a backlit KBT Pure, but getting substitute caps would mean missing all the side-printed modifier designations.  Number one reason I ended up getting a TKL keyboard.

I dropped Morocco because I simply don't have the time to deal with the extremely complex Arabic legends right now. I have only seen Arabic Cherry once, a 3000SAA which went for like EUR240.
what

that was the coolest one

there are standardized arabic fonts that should be pretty easy to source

e: Irish would look very cool if all white

In addition to my question about the bottom row modifier novelty keys being printed on beige PBT, I have one more:  will the "~" and "\" keys possibly be beige?  It would look a lot more coherent and symmetrical if the will be.  Just like on the Ural mock up.

Yeah, I just noticed this too.

Two other questions:

1. Why are the Win-Keys on some sets blank, while other sets have unique legends (like MIAMI) or the Cherry Symbol in the matching color? Is this final?

2. Would it be possible to buy extra spacebars? I'd be interested in 5 white ones :)

I know we've discussed that these are expensive, but why does it have to come out of our pocket? Can't that company be convinced to see that adding 7x/1.5x to their sets only increases their value to people? They should just make them on their own, or at least offer to split some of it...

Ural mock up was a mistake, they don't come with beige ` or \ key they are white.
Some set may or may not get some unique winkey legend instead of a blank key. I was rushing to get some mock up posted so there are some with errors and some that need some legend still. I will make sure to get things done before invoice time so there is not a surprise for the buyer.

I have no idea why they won't just make the key sizes. I guess they don't believe those are in demand, considering pretty much everyone but iOne does not use 1.5 anymore. Missing ISO enter is perplexing though, as it is a standard for at least half the world I would think they would be eager to cater to that entire market as they are missing quite a large revenue possibility there.

Instead of asking one customer to cover the mold costs they could simply charge more for the new ones until they paid for themselves. But i guess that would be too simple :(

We were using mechanical keyboards 30 years ago ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

This is a bit confusing for me: are the two tone sets in white/beige or white/grey?  AKA closer to Sherry's black on beige modifiers or the IMSTO dark grey
?

The sets will be bright white and light beige.  Not dark like IMSTO's gray.

There's a photo of the colors some pages back.

There is no such thing as Imsto dark gray. It's medium gray at best :)

Missing ISO Enter is really frustrating, so close to awesome full ISO sets :/
Lack of a beige \ irks me as well, although probably not to the point that I can't spend money on blanks in the end.
Could that be a future single key option if there is some demand?
