i submitted an RFQ for the switches yesterday, but the prices have increased.

they want $5.85/switch, not including shipping. right now I'm waiting to hear back from another distributor, who also had the same price last time I checked. If I can't get the price back down, then I will allow order cancellations for those of you who want to cancel their order.

there will only be another round of invoicing if the other distributor doesn't get me a lower price and it will only be for people who still want to stay in the buy.

Kind of a pain for logistics for you since they upped their price. Personally the extra $.45 isn't a big deal to me, it just sucks you'll have to re-invoice everyone. I would probably care if it wasn't a lock switch, but it's not liking (many) people are buying a huge amount, so the price difference isn't that big (for most people).

That's somewhat unprofessional. The whole point of a RFQ is to get a price you can then continue with. Changing that price afterwards sucks.

apparently the distributor that ships to them raised the price, so they had to increase their price as well. and my quote was a bit outdated, i hadn't requested a quote since the last GB, which was in august.
