I mean, I guess you could include black keys, but I dunno if they'd look right with the CMY get-up.

Sorry about that. I know PayPal is the easiest for many, but with recent issues for new GB runners, I think less new GB's will go that route unless they stop restricting accounts.

From reading the IC thread it seems like the price ONLY covers the caps. I'm cool with the mandatory donation because the trend of gb organizers losing money needs to die.

Yeah but on principle, donations should never be mandatory. It should be tacked on in fees if anything. Donations are supposed to be voluntary.

We had some miscommunication and the donations were set mandatory. If anyone who has ordered does not want to donate, no hard feelings. I'll happily send you a partial refund. If so, shoot me a PM and I'll work through them this week.

So topic of the week is GBs. I don't think it should be standard, but I'll submit public proof of payment to GMK. There are inherenet risks with any GB, but I will do anything I can to mitigate those risks. If you guys want me to document the process with GMK I am glad to. I also plan to update the second post in this thread with periodic updates. Ideally once a week. I expect many of them to be "nothing new", but sometimes that is enough of a reassurance.

Why not use MassDrop for this?

After all the discussion on GB's this week, I see no reason why keycaps w/ GMK should be run as GB format instead of through MD.

I get that certain things like TGR-Jane, or the upcoming Mira, cannot be run on MD. However, on keyset buys with large MOQ's, MD is the perfect format, not to mention much better buyer protection. Just look at Sparkleloft keys... the R2 is on MD, and looks like it will happen very smoothly.

I just joined.

I didn't sign in on the page before I made an order. Then I got a confirmation email with a link to the order. When clicking the link, the website says I need to be logged in to view it, but I don't have an account yet. I tried to make an account by pressing Sign In, but the browser gave me an error "The page has a redirect loop." After reloading the page, it now shows that I'm logged in, but when I click on Orders, it says "There's no orders in the history". Clicking the order link in the email again gives me "too many redirects" error. Please clarify what's going on.

Sweden here =P (Shipping from Sweden is a little expensive though, so rather not be the receiver/shipper).

If you had a broken link in your email, I'll fix that and shoot off another email. Guest checkout is a new feature.

Ditto. Poste italiane would charge € 32 for shipping within the euro-zone and € 39,34 to our fellow friend in Slovakia.
