UPDATE: We had 78 buyers generate a total of $578 in proceeds for a donation toward geekhack's operating expenses. I want to thank everyone who participated!

I spoke with iMav about doing a little charity work for the community by offering some of these vinyl stickers at cost. I will be donating 100% of the proceeds directly back to the board!

Timeframe:
I will be closing this sale on April 21st
All stickers will be mailed out by April 24th

Price:
These will be in packs of two stickers for $4 a pair.
Price includes shipping and pp fee for US. Canada and International will add $1.00 for postage.

You mean like the tiny ones for the hhkb itself? thats too small for my equipment/patience and I think they have to be cast not cut. I do however have cherry, topre, hhkb, and r/mk stickers as well that I made for our Raleigh meetup. I'll put those up for sale on a site when i have some time to figure out prestashop.

So i would recommend putting them on glass-like surfaces for best adhesion. My intention was for your car windows. But you might be able to put them on plastic or laptops with some care.

I got mine today!

I decided to stick one on my laptop, but I was having trouble removing the top layer as it was peeling off with it (probably because it rained today and so they were a bit damp)
But luckily I had better luck with the second one and it came out great!

Cool! Yeah i was having some issues with the porous plastic on my case too. I might try again but hit it with the hair dryer and then press it in really well and then after a while try pulling the transfer tape off. I dunno. I have better luck with the cheaper masking tape than the high quality nylon tape.
Were you able to save the first sticker? let me know if you need a replacement.

Ok, so I got my stickers and I feel like an idiot. How do these work? I put them on my desired surface, peeled slowly, and just a few letters stayed. I tried pressing hard, and all sorts of stuff. Is there a guide somewhere? 😵

With die cut decals you peel the top layer off (clear). The letters should come up with it. Find place of application...make sure its a surface that will actually allow stickers and is clean, then press sticker onto surface and press against the letters and they should stick on. Once you have pressed all the letters, I recommend running a credit card over them to push out any air bubbles if you have any. Afterwards, gently peel off the clear top layer and the letters should stay in place

^ and to add to that, you need to apply them to a surface that they can adhere to. I was having issues with the transfer tape holding the vinyl better than the vinyl was holding my porous plastic PC case... but it worked fine on the smooth plastic.

If you screw something up let me know and I'd be glad to send replacements.

I HIGHLY recommend you use these for glass... like a car window or a smooth painted surface.

Sticker wasn't coming up so I had to press it into the transfer paper and then roll the backing paper off at an aggressive angle...

Rolling the transfer tape off after using alcohol to clean the aluminum laptop...

yup. Just got the shopping cart thing working tonight so i'm testing it out and learning it. I'll be adding 5 black cherry stickers in just a minute actually. More colors soon.

I'll make you one with low-tack masking tape rather than the heavy nylon. Its easier to apply to plastic that way.

I feel like it's a little darker than the lavendar but that's pretty close. There was a conversation on DT about it: https://deskthority.net/off-topic-f10/various-fanboy-stickers-t8291.html

Pictures on the Topre/RF sites make it look more blueish but it's really close.

He's only looking at 951 Oracal though, theres some slight differences in color for some of the other less expensive products... like this might be closer:

I can also look at Avery vinyl as well... see what they have, but their vinyl sucks.
