Dood, congratulations on that get! It's freaking beautiful... and an awesome photo to boot :D Jelly, bro.

I also got a gem in the mail yesterday but wasn't able take pictures until now (1am)! Not only did I get an awesome price on this baby, but it was packaged so perfectly for such a good purchase! I had fun looking for it in the box :)) Here are some box pictures because I know some people just "love" them :P

The 55g Topre is just so much freaking fun to type on and feels so good. It's so poppy and feels so very solid underneath the fingers. However, I don't know if this thing will work out for my job... typing on this for 4-5 hours straight may be a lil' too much. I guess I'll know after testing it out for a week  :thumb: It goes so perfectly with my 23UB <3

Any more rubber domes on that desk and you'll be grounded from a lightning strike! ;)

Very nice setup....it even includes my favorite trackball.

hehehe ~ Thanks! All my Cherry boards are taking a break on the desk next to me, while I drown myself in this current Thorpe fad. This 55g is just too much fun to type it; it feels so good.

The Slimblade is awesome too! Anyone on the fence about getting one should just do themselves a favor and just buy one already :thumb:

Dood... I don't think I can even use this expensive cup rubber board because it might be too stiff for 4-6 hours of non-stop typing but I don't think I will be able to sell it... it's such an awesome board... Damnit. The thing with my Slimblade, I need to see if Kensington will do something about the scratch in the ball, and the one double clicking button (it doesn't actually double click but it makes 2 clicking sounds and feel so it throws me off). I bought it second hand but the previous owner never had to send it in, so I'm hoping I won't have a problem *fingers crossed*!

You can use it wherever you type least, either home or work. The Slimblade top 2 buttons have a slightly different click. I assume it was meant to be that way so as to differentiate them as media buttons.

Klaxon TKL Set and some Android dolls :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Unfortunately, regarding the Slimblade, the double clicking is actually the bottom left button which many use as the left click :( I luckily prefer to have my left click as the top right button, but I use the bottom left button as third/wheel button so I use it frequently, and it's starting to bug me.

The 55g is a beast, that's for sure. Love it so far!

Bout 3 weeks but if you're over east they should arrive in about a fortnight, stuff takes bloody forever to cross the Nullabor once it arrives in Australia.

Beautiful, sir.

Simply beautiful.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
