Where is the Ducky 1087 love? At half the price of a Filco TKL it seems like a pretty good deal...
Anyone care to weigh in?

I may actually trade my Leopold TKL for a newer Ducky 1087 TLK, both with browns. A buddy of mine has the ducky and we're going to trial swap. I'll report in, but that's probably not going to be for a month or so. :/

Ducky 1087 ftw! The coming friday I'll have mine 100%! at last :-)

I've typed on it and find its build quality a bit cheap. Typing feel is great, as usual

What's cheap about the build quality then? And u sure it's cheap and not just "different" then a filco?

Love my ducky 1087. Hoping they produce a tenkeyless red at half the price of filcos next!
As for build quality comment: All the switches are plate mounted. The big difference is the construction of either's respective plastic casing. As long as you're not planning on playing frisbee with your keyboards I don't see where build quality becomes an issue. The Ducky is more than fine for day to day use and for the price it really can't be beat.

Sounds like a good deal, is PCHome the only place to buy this board? They're out of stock on blues in english and I have no idea how to contact them to find out when they will be back.

It's the best bang/buck for a tkl keyboard, imo. 80$ delivered for an nkro tenkeyless board is about as good as you can do. I have three- no issues at all.

Why not just get the Chinese one then?

I thought about that if I could find some blank keycaps to go with it, otherwise I really wanted english keys...

It is a good deal, as long as you can actually get one for a good price. PCHome does have nice sales... err... One long never-ending sale. So, yes. I think its a great deal. It doesn't feel quite as nice as my filco, but I do love the white ducky as it is the Whitest of white keyboards.

I'm jealous, I want a white TKL ducky like yours; what switches does it have, and did you get it from PC Home? I'm looking for one with blue switches but have thus far struck out.

I just got mine and have nothing to compare it to, but I love this little guy already. The browns are so nice (I have the brown/blue one). I say you cant go wrong if you get one, esp. with the $10 (at least for me) at pchome.

It has brown switches on the main part, and blue for the arrows/num lk/home/end... etc--cluster. Its the same board that is in the white ducky of DOOM review. Panda-R sold it to someone at OCN, and they posted it back for sale a few weeks later, so I picked it up from them. The only place I have seen them for sale is TaoBao. They used to be very expensive, but they are available there for the same price as the black version now. The white version also came with a TKL leather wrist wrest, which accounted for some extra cost. Not sure what broker fees would be, but if they seem high, it might be better to wait to see if a version with a nicer casing gets released.

hmm, thx for the detail. I definitely need it to have all blues, so I have a feel I'll be waiting awhile.
