So I told Lin I have an issue missing 7u spacebar, so he made me a whole bottom row spacebar.

As far as GB concerns, I have absolutely no idea quite yet. Lin just shared this design today and wanted to see if the community was interested. More details will come if the community is interested!

Love everything but the bottom row. Probably won't go for an ultra-premium board with a plate I don't love, but really quite lovely beyond that

I'm assuming the bottom row was designed as such because it's going to support dramatically more layouts than usual, including split spacebars &c. Linx3 doesn't strike me as a lazy designer, so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt until we learn more about why the bottom row is the way it is.

That's what one would end up with if you were to draw a plate that support all the layouts from the l3 finger PCB. I NEED one!

I don't think anyone is hinting at Lin being a lazy designer, but just that people don't like the universal bottom row. I personally have one of Lin's keyboards (Envkx) and I absolutely love it.

I don't know when we started to see universal bottom row, maybe it started from 60% plate, but custom kits used to have separate plate design for WKL/WK. And then we started to see universal plate that supports both, which I'm still kind of OK with. But this plate design is definitely pushing it to the extreme..

In my honest opinion the extra keys are pointless. 60% boards with a function layer are superior ergonomically and they look nicer.

VERY interested, however please convince Lin to change that bottom row and make that logo/lettering optional please!

The bottom row doesn't look appealing at all, a standard 6.25/7/split like on the TX75 would be enough in my opinion. I'd personally just prefer 6.25/7, but I know others may want the split spacebars.

Lin curvy lines is already authentic on its own. Why adding more text? The text makes the the board looks unconfident. Just put the text under the board if the name is so so needed.
