Backstory

In January 2015, I ordered my first GMK set, GMK Hyperfuse.

Five years later, I’m still waiting for it to be delivered, as are many others.

So I pose this question:

What does the community think about running this set, to make it available to those who have bought this set and never received it after five years of waiting?

I welcome your feedback and opinions.


Proposed Kits


CORE | MOQ: 150



Hype Abused features a decently sized base kit, which provides layout coverage for standard and winkeyless full-size, 1800, TKL, 75%, 65%, FC660-like layouts, or 60% keyboards. The kit also features UK-ISO layout support and a 6U off-center stem space bar.

The Core kit has been changed slightly from the original set, to better accommodate preferences of today.

Faith comes in many ways, sometimes in thick double-shot German-made ABS, so we are offering a kit solely composed of ten R1 F8 keys. The perfect kit to be shared with friends and your loved ones.

A: No. I genuinely want this set, in these colors, to get what I ordered.


Q: Can you give us some color codes?
A: Kindly note that the images are of 3D renders and are for illustration purposes only. The final colors may differ slightly. This set uses the standard GMK color palette:
- Alphas base: 2M (grey)
- Alphas legends: UN5046 (purple)
- Modifiers base: CC (drak gary)
- Modifiers legends: UN6037 (cyan)

- Compatible with MX style switches
- 1.5mm thick double-shot ABS plastic

OP has given enough context to expose the motivations to why he has started an IC:

decided to start his own GB for those who get scammed TWICE  and name it GMK Hype RAW Abused.

Assuming the top is true and there is enough demand I’m sure they will run it and anyone with anything outstanding from me ill happily cover in that buy to ship direct from them

If the above is true but oco has no interest in running it and give you permission, same applies

Since you removed the front print to clean up print/pause, I would also change scroll lock and num lock to scroll and num respectively since the rest of the nav keys are single-lined.

I also lean towards single-line arrow hhkb backspace, but I know that's preference, and "backspace" is still better than the terrible xbox arrow.

Am I correct in the assumption, that this hasn‘t the same colors as Hyperfuse Origin (which just recently ran on Originative)?

Yeah this uses stock gmk colours rather than custom ones

The only difference between this and the original run would be the purple, of which gmk updated shortly afterwards, but it’s near enough the same

It'd be cool to see both “Hyper” and “Fuse” legends make an appearance, as well as R3 PgUp and R4 PgDn keys for 65%/75% boards.

I prefer the superior "Pause Print" and "Break Screen".

There's a slight problem with that, in that Print Screen is a single legend, whereas Pause and Break are two distinct legends on the same key. If you're including Break, you also kind of have to include SysRq on the PrtSc key, and that just makes it messy.
