Keycap suggestions for Quickfire XT
« on: Thu, 25 July 2013, 21:25:32 »
Hey friends! I'm getting my new Quickfire XT in the mail tomorrow and would like to waste no time in getting a new set of keycpaps on it.  I'm super excited to try the board out, but I read somewhere on this forum that the stock key caps leave a little to be desired.  Ideally, I'd love to throw a set of the ninja key caps that come on Filco's but I haven't been able to find any place that actually sells them separately.  I would jump into some of the key cap group buys that are done through this community but I unfortunately do not use Paypal so that kind of limits what I can and can't purchase from here.  I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good set I could look into.  Thanks so much!

You can buy key caps at techkeys.us or mechanicalkeyboards.com or from feng's eBay store

And why no PayPal, its really convenient.

I had a bad experience with them regarding a fraudulent buyer on eBay a few years ago.  I was just really put off by the whole situation that I decided to stop using their services.  I'll probably come around soon and reactivate my account since it seems to be what most people on this website use.  I have been using Amazon Payments for a little while and seems to be just as good, just not as widely used.   Thank you so much for referring me to those places, i'll be sure to check both out.

Not trying to threadjack, but I'm in the same boat as you. I just got a QFR and I want PBT dye sub caps for it. The same color scheme as the dark grey and blue Ducky G2 on MK here: http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=473 .

You could make your own design using the wasd website.
