Hello! My name is Ele but I also am lurking around Discord and Twitch as keebnewb or elevision. I'm relatively new to the keyboard hobby but have fallen in love with building keyboards. I occasionally stream on Twitch and I am here for all of the meme boards.
I got into the hobby kind of by accident. In 2018 I saw an article that mentioned the Vortex Race 3 keyboard and I immediately was like "LEGO KEYBOARD" and I saved the link to it for a future time when I would have some extra money. I was blessed with a pretty large Amazon giftcard that Christmas and purchased it and was living my best life.
Later on in 2019 I found out that you could customize the keycaps of your keyboard and that's when I really got sucked down the rabbit hole. My first group buy was the DSA Astrolokeys set which I love. I am now spreading the mechanical keyboard gospel to my friends, family and co-workers hehe.
