Just wondering but for the extras kit, the 75% keys you added were the home and end keys for along the right hand side. That would leave the order Page up, Page down, Home, End in that order. Would you consider changing it so that it goes Home, Page up, Page down, and end?

anything else aside from the fully spelled out Print Screen and the atrocious tab?
Print Screen instead of Prt Sc
Tab legend
No side-printed 'Sys Rq' and 'Break' on Prt Sc and Pause.

Only three things really, but enough to make the set look terrible.

Will these be identical to the GMK beige doubleshot sets Originative used to sell?

I saw mention before there was "something wrong" with the colors of that set?

I have an Originative set and they are spot on with a vintage set I have, so I'm curious what the difference might be.

Thanks!

Colors look a little muted in the photo below.

I have the GMK one from Originative, and the legend is different than the PBT one they offered
Though there are no side prinst and the legends are not original cherry it's better than the PBT one

Very excited for this to start, but my wallet is thankful that you guys are taking the extra time to plan it out :). Hype though!

I know there will not be any changes to the set, but would it be possible to add the options to order extra spacebars?

Well atleast the Octagon is remappable. Its still good to know 75% is covered.

Thanks to Hoffster all non-EU buyers will be getting a very, very nice price. I estimate the main set will be around $100-110.

EU buyers will still get a nice price considering EU sets will be shipping from the UK, and no import fees will need to be paid. It will be about 20% higher since VAT will have to be paid on EU orders.

Me and Hoff just need to work out proper shipping costs and then this GB will launch. I want to get this started ASAP.

You pay more, since I will have to pay 20% VAT on EU orders. However, since I will ship them from the UK you won't pay any import fees. So it works out the same really.

I think you misunderstand.

We are effectively making two orders with GMK.

One ships to Hoff in the USA - USA and non-EU orders. No VAT is paid on these sets. This was done in order to keep things as cheap as possible for non-EU buyers.
One ships to me in the UK - EU orders. VAT is paid on these sets (I pay GMK 20% extra). The bonus is that you pay no import fees, which would not be the case if Hoff shipped all orders.

Should note that VAT would be paid regardless of which EU country the GMK order shipped to. Blame the EU for this, seriously :-X

Why do some people feel entitled for people to cater to them on here? If you desperately want this to start just talk with GMK and start one yourself.

Just sit tight like the rest of us and this will be on your doorstep before you know it. :thumb:

Well Ivan's Miami Night's buy is inching closer and closer to starting, so now's kind of a nice time to start with nothing else open at the moment.  Plus, it's been a few weeks since the end of Triumph Adler so hopefully most of the wallets have had time to recover!  :thumb:

I support any decisions on when the GB start by photeqk.
No matter when this start, i'll absolutely join in. The question is to buy one set or two sets , which mainly depending on how long this GB will last.
FOR example , if starting right now , it lasts for one month as usual GMK's GBs, I could only afford just one . If this start half a month later and end two weeks later, i could buy two sets. But all this depent on you ,i fully support you ,photeqk.
The reason why i buy two sets is the one is classic and could cater  to more keyboards plus the mockup, and could not be re-gb ONCE AGAIN after duplicating several times.
The last not the least, i fully appreciate and understand there are many fators delayed you , considerring the HP,TA,Blue MOD , however  your great and fabulous and hard work will be appreciated by us . i'LL support you

Everybody is making a remark about the fact that they want this gb to start, even those who say that you can't in fact rush the op.

General question: in a gb of this size, how long does gmk  usually take to make the sets?

production is 6-8weeks. but not including taking orders, paying invoice, shipping time varying among different countries.
in all ,the total GB time may range from4-6 months, excluding some unexpected delays.

So now that Ivan's GMK has launched will this be postponed again?

I think Photekq plans on launching as soon as he can, regardless of what else is going on. If I'm wrong I'm really sorry tom

I just hope when this finally launches that the GB will last at least 25 -30 days.

I have a fixed amount that I spend on keyboard related items each month, so there is always something on my list that has to be gotten.

It would really suck if this launches after I've already spent my monthly keyboard money, and then the GB only lasts for two weeks or something.

That's why a heads up, or some notice would be much appreciated.

I haven't given a starting date because I don't know myself.

Me and Hoff are just getting all the shipping prices perfect. Sure, we could do it really fast and get this started this week, but would you not agree it's better to wait a while longer and make sure everything is perfect?

I will give one weeks notice before starting once everything is ready. I'm starting it regardless of other group buys going on.
